Sasha scoffed, "Oh here we go again.... Welcome to the Cafe of Sweet Memories, please, enjoy your stay.... Now leave. I can't get a pay check with you people disturbing the customers." She said, her voice becoming gentle and kind, despite her irritation. Though something about the man seemed.... Peculiar.... As if he really didn't know where he was. An idea came to mind. No one really knew what year the knight Yvonus disappeared.... Maybe.... "What year is this?" She asked, knowing if he said the right time period of Yvonus' disappearance, he was either one hell of a historian or....
-
Yvonus looked at her, confused. "Well, all of the common folk have been insisting it's sometime in the two thousands... But last I checked, that's.. Not possible. It was just the 10th century..!" He crosses his arms, his expression looking a bit lost. "I was in the middle of a war. We called it the Battle of the Ages. The kingdom here.. Hirid Empire.. Was going against the Chairal Dynasty."
-
Sasha nearly fainted and her throat went dry. "I see... Follow me..." She walked toward the back, screaming to Jane that she was going on lunch break before opening the door to the employees only room, holding it open for him and geaturing to one of the barely cushioned steel chair. "Sit. This may take a while ."
-
Yvonus followed the girl, tapping his fingers against his armor. As he sat on the chair, he felt a wave of nausea hit him. For some reason, he was suddenly exhausted, as if questioning people had wore him out. "What do you mean? Do you.. Actually believe me?"
-
"No one knows the time period of when the knight Yvonus disappeared... You're either a great historian, or..." Sasha cut herself off, honestly not ready to admit she believed something so wild. "Alright, let's start from the beginning. What do you remember of Hirid? You said it was some time in the tenth century, so it wasn't very advanced yet, so any form of technology is out of the question of being sent here from the past..."
-
"Like I said, we were in the middle of a war," Yvonus's hand went to the hilt of his sword. "I was on the battlefield, at the head of the army. I remember.. A flash of blue light, and the next thing I knew, I woke up here." The knight sighed, resting his chin on the table. It was cold, and it reminded him of how cold it was waking up on the forest floor. "It might have been a magic spell. But that doesn't explain how I'm here. There's no magic for time travel!"
-
Sasha stiffened before standing and walking over, "Forgive me for this, but this," She took the hilt of his sword in her hand, "needs to go. You scare me when you have that." She muttered the last part before sitting on the table, her legs swinging off the edge, "Now then, back to the matter at hand. You said a blue light? A magic spell? That's impossible! Magicks like that don't exist! I should know since I'm a Wiccan," she said matter-of-factly, pulling a chain from beneath her neckline that held a pentacle.
-
Yvonus made a soft noise of protest, but he reluctantly allowed the woman to take it. He couldn't see why she was so worried- it was normal for knights to be armed. Then again, this wasn't his time. Perhaps knights were frowned down upon? He recalled the world cosplayer, and wondered if it was an insult towards his kind. "Believe it or not, I don't care. I'm just telling you what I saw. I'm.. Not really sure about it myself, actually. I know mages existed at the time, but I don't believe they were that powerful.." He trailed off, his eyes locking on the pentacle. He tilted his head, admiring it. "My.. A wiccan, you say?"
-
Sasha nodded before tucking her pentacle back into her shirt. She stretched, "Anyway, we've got to find a way to send you back... Your kingdom loses the war without you..." she murmured, her eyes straying to the sword that sat beside her. She ran her fingers down the blade before shaking her head, "And we have to get you out of those.... Clothes? Would that be a correct term?" She asked, tilting her head, her long brown hair following the motions and spilling over her shoulder.
-
His face went pale at the mention of the lost war. He leaned back into his chair, slowly shaking his head. "We can't send me back. It would mess with history as we know it, and might cause disasters. We'll have to keep me here." Yvonus sighed, leaning to rest his head in his hand. "I'll need to learn these customs. Blend in, as one might say. And this?" He tapped on his armor, looking up at her. "It's called armor. I'm rather comfortable in it."
-
Sasha chuckled and walked to her locker before pulling out some male clothing. "Well, men in these times wear this. They're actually really comfortable! And quit being so proper. That'll give you away in a heartbeat. Anywho, I'll teach you to blend in, and you can stay at my place until you're on your feet. Now then, get these on. Tomorrow I'll take you shopping so I can get my clothes back." She placed some jeans and a green t shirt on the table before turning around as not to seem like she were intruding.

(Sorry for the delay, I've been a busy bee!)
The knight's face scrunched up in a scowl as he looked over what she was holding out. It looked odd. He hadn't seen any kind of clothing like that worn before, other than the people in this time period. He took them from her, staring at the clothing in his hands. The fabric felt soft, and unlike what he used to wear out of armor, it wasn't hard or scratchy. "..Blend in," Yvonus repeated, sighing. He slowly started to remove his armor, and soon, he was in the clothing. "Are you happy now, Miss Wiccan?" -
Sasha was bright red with her back turned, "I don't know how it was in your time, but there's somethings in mine called modesty and innocence! I would before to keep mine!" She snapped, embarrassed as she slowly turned to eye him, her face reddening further. "And I have a name... I'm Sasha, but most people call me Sass." She huffed, her arms crossing, "Now then, can I trust you not to 'slay' anything while I get back to work? You can sit out with the customers as long as you don't cause a big scene, and you can observe the twenty first century."

(Thank you for bumping this.)
"I never said you couldn't keep your 'modesty and innocence,'" Yvonus said with a small laugh. "I was only asking you if this clothing is.. To your liking." He smoothed some wrinkles on his shirt, staring down at himself. He didn't like the colors, and he thought he looked too vulnerable for his taste, but he decided it would be a good way to pretend to belong in the time period and find out what was going on. Upon her saying her name, the knight looked up, surprised. "Oh.. Sasha.. That's a beautiful name." He smiled to her. "Yes, you can trust me to behave. You have my sword, anyway. I can't take it back from you. I'll.. Do my best to observe, but I promise nothing."
