Sable looked at the adviser and he frowned

The king pondered for a moment. He leaned his head towards his advisor. "Should we trust him?" He questioned, eyeing Beetle suspiciously. Izzy was rolling her eyes and scowling. "Came to your decision, yet?" She asked impatiently, crossing her arms.

The advisor turned around with the king to have a private conversation and whispered "I don't think so milord. How do we know his species isn't malevolent? I say we test him, by having him battle in the arena with our strongest fighter. We can let him stay if he wins."

Sable looked around

"Good idea," The king agreed, nodding. He turned towards Beetle, Izzy, and Sable. His eyes studied them all before landing on Beetle. "You will have a battle with our strongest fighter, to see if your species is malevolent," The king said, echoing his advisors words. "Can I have a fight, too?" Izzy asked him, eyes glinting. "No," The king said exasperated. "For no good reason? Really. That's a waste of potential in my guards," He rationed. He turned again to Beetle. "Do you accept?"

Beetle said "I accept your challenge. I will prove my worth to you."

Sable sighed in annoyance and he left

Izzy noticed Sable leave. She caught up to him and grabbed his shoulder. "You alright?" She asked him. Meanwhile the king stood up and was directing one of his guards to get the best fighter from the royal army. The guard nodded and walked away to fetch him. "Follow my advisor to the arena, I'm going to go find my special seat," the king said, walking towards the arena also but making a turn away from them.

The advisor said "This way please." He lead Beetle to a door and through a hallway. He asked "If it's okay, what is your name sir?" The advisor said "My name is Cardous and that's all you need to know."

Sable growled softly and then he nodded"I'm fine

"Come on, we're gonna miss the fight!" She said. "They're already calling people towards the arena. We have to hurry and get the good seats," Izzy said, tugging on Sable's arm. The king sat on his chair, which was high up but had the best view of all.

Cardous led Beetle to an entrance door to the inside of the arena. He stood there both confidant and nervous. He's fought many battles before but he always had a team too, this time he was on his own. Cardous stood by the king's chair.

sable sighed and then he followed Izzy, mildly annoyed

Izzy sat towards the front of the row. It had a good veiw and was closest to the ground, to get a better perceptive. She was bouncy on her feet and a bit giddy from curiosity. People started filling in the rows behind her until, finally, it was time to begin. "Let the fight begin," The king bellowed loudly after looking around.

The announcer said "Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the most awesome fight in the world. Two combatants enter, but only one shall leave. In the red corner, hailing from parts unknown, The Alien Among Us, Beetle Bugish." The doors opened and Beetle stepped into the arena as the crowd booed him.
