"Why not? It's cute." Adoel shrugged and walked into the light yellow kitchen. He reached up to the wooden cupboard and took out a beautiful dark green teacup.

Schatten stopped and blinked in confusion".....cute?" He finally said, tilting his head as his tails twitched

Adoel set the teacup down on the counter and turned around."Yeah, you know, attractive, likable in an endearing way." Adoel smiled and laughed. "Don't get your panties in a twist."

Schatten frowned and tgen he shrugged it off "is it alright if I sit down?" He asked, tilting his head slightly

"Please do. What type of tea do you like? Or is it coffee for you?" Adoel put the kettle on the stove and turned to face Schatten.

Schatten carefully sat down, his tails curling around him. He tilted his head "green tea, please" he said softly

"Lemon or no lemon." Adoel sat beside Schatten. He tapped his finger while he had his left hand under his chin.

Schatten moved his tails away from him "no lemon please" he said, looking at the window

"Got it." He stood up and walked over to the kettle that was now screaming a high pitched tune. Adoel took the kettle off of the stove and poured some into the teacup. "It's hot. " He pointed out as he set it on the table

Schatten nodded slightly and he watched the steam coming out of the cup, his eyes glowing

Adoel picked up a book and began reading, without looking up he sipped his tea

Schatten carefully picked up his tea and started siping it as he looked out the window again, his tails twitching nervously

"Why so tense." Adoel said it more as a statement then a question. He was weirded out himself.

"I just don't like staying in one place to long" he said with a shrug "it gives them time to catch up
