Adoel's eyebrow twitched as Schatten began checking his wounds. >He was not scared? He is not even acknowledging me

Schatten looked at him "thank you for helping me" he said as his tails twitched, the only sign that he was nervous being do close to an Angel

"Don't thank me, I only wanted to get credit on catching you," Adoel stared daggers trying to capture why he wasn't scared, "Unless you give me a good reason not too."

Schatten shook his head and stepped away from him "I should go. Those wolves sent the only ones after me* he said

"True, that's why you're coming with me." Adoel grabbed Schatten and put him over his shoulder. "You see, as guardian, I'm supposed to protect this area and remove anything that tries to harm it. Therefore, I get to take you to my house till the elders come."

Schatten yelped as he was picked up and he started thrashing"put me Down!" He snarled

Adoel hid a smile as he continued walking. This was going to be fun. "So, what's your name?"

Schatten growled at him "why do you care" he snapped before turning his head to glare at him

"I don't, but if you want to get out unharmed, you might want to reconsider your actions."

Schatten frowned and then he looked away as he stopped thrashing"Schatten" he finally said

"Nice name, now why were you here?" Adoel frowned as he asked. Maybe he's an assassin of some sort, no, they wolves caught him too easily, a traveler? Maybe?

"I don't know. I don't pay much attention to where I run" he said with a shrug

"Fair enough, why are you running."
Adoel felt weird, this demon seemed fairly innocent to have been chased down. -
"because of what I am" he snarled, glaring at the ground

"Really?" Adoel glared. "That's it, there was no mistake, or money mishap?"
