Alexandra and her mom got out the car. While Alex held the bags, her mom unlocked the door to the house.

Alex put the candy into her room under her drawer after returning her mom's card. "You want me to help sort through your new clothes and paint stuff?" She asked Archaios.

He rubbed the back of his head "if you want...

Alex nodded. She went into his room and started taking contents out of it's bag. "So, anything else your mom, um, forced you to do?" She asked him.

Archaios quickly fell silent, staring at the ground

"I won't pry," she said. "I know it must be hard talking about it," Alexandra said.

Archaios started putting the paint's away but his moments where stiff

Alex felt a bit guilty. "Sorry for mentioning it," She said quietly, taking tags off clothes and folding them up into drawers.

Alexandra stayed silent as she finished. She headed out to her room.
