Alex sat in the car and patted the seat next to her. "Here," she said, handing him a trix that he picked out.

He smiled happily and started eating the twix

Alex's mom started the car. "So, what do you think you're gonna draw next with the new art stuff?" Alex asked, trying to make conversation.

He shrugged"I don't know

"Oh, there could be plenty of stuff to draw. Cartoons, scenery. You could draw the backyard," Alex suggested.

Her mom pulled into the driveway. "Okay, for now, let's just be crazy and do whatever," Alex said smiling.

Alex smirked. "The: bet I can burn the most bugs crazy or the: let's just dance until dawn crazy?" Alex asked.

"Um," Alex widened her eyes. "Maybe you should just sleep tonight, the candy can wait until tomorrow." Alex suggested.
