DM Roarkvil NewbieTell me when you are ready.
-
You have a character sheet or should we just wing it? Also, what exactly did you mean by the children were gifted? [Should of asked that earlier but I forgot.]
-
DM Roarkvil NewbieGifted as in skilled in magic. I should have mentioned that. Sorry.
Winging it seems fine. -
Ahh yes. Magic is fun.
Alright, I'll get my character made and post it in a sec. -
DM Roarkvil NewbieSounds like a deal. I may take a second. I'm watching an anime.
-
[ooh what anime?]
Name: Lorica
Age: uhh however old you think we should be? Maybe like 15.
Gender: Female
Magic: So far all she really knows about is her ability to create orbs of light and manipulate the light in a room to dim and brighten.
Personality: She can be a bit overly optimistic at times, and a tad ditzy, but she's dependable and loyal and outspoken for her beliefs.
Other: She's very quick, and fairly athletic. She also has knowledge of some healing plants and such.
[is that good?] -
DM Roarkvil Newbie[Battle Angel Altia. It's two episodes long.]
Name: Sollux
Age: 14
Gender: Male
Magic: Able to create small balls of fire for brief seconds at a time.
Personality: Horrified at the effects the moon virus had on his friends and parents, Sollux is not a very optimistic person. He likes to try and have hope, but he can't escape the dreams of his loved ones literally puking up their lungs while screaming for help while the die haunting him in his sleep.
Other: Sollux is a book nerd and, when not weeping or being paranoid, can often be found reading or in deep thought.
Looks: Sollux has blue eyes and black hair that's pulled back into a choppy ponytail. His skin is tan and he's only 5 inches tall. He likes wearing shorts and always carries a small pocket knife with him. His shoes are rugged and brown, and he has the puke blood of his infected mother in a vial that is tied to a necklace that he keeps on him at all times. -
[Sollux? HS fan? :P
you can start.] -
DM Roarkvil NewbieHS? and yes, yours is good.]
Sollux sat near the campfire reading the one book he brought with him. A Beginners Guide to the Unknown. Sollux had recently found interest in myths of forest beasts and rare sightings, so keeping his mind distracted was currently a higher priority than keeping warm. Luckily, he could multitask well enough. -
[Homestuck.xD]
Lorica went through the supplies in her bag, counting the items and trying to calculate how long the small amount of medicines and such would last. She also went through the proper uses in her head, wanting to be prepared. She poked a stick at the fire while lost in thoughts, making a face. -
DM Roarkvil NewbieNever heard of it. Pollux is the name of a sun. Solar energy is what's produced by suns. Solar plus Pollux equals Sollux.)
Sollux slightly shivered as the cold winds blew, the campfire only slightly helping his warmth. But, like many kids his age, these cold winds and this warm fire made him weary. He sighed, setting down his book. Sollux would rather stay up at least a little longer before he had to endure the night terrors that always filled his dreams. "So, uh... What's up, Lorica?" -
[huh. alright then. creative name.]
"...What's up?" She blinked, glancing over at him after coming out of her thoughts, almost dropping a bottle of some liquid.
She quickly caught it, though, and replaced it in the bag, setting the stick aside. "Just trying to remember emergency uses for everything in my bag.." She shrugged, then picked up the stick again.
"What's that book?" -
DM Roarkvil NewbieSollux grinned as he heard the question. "Oh! It's a book about mythical creatures! Did you know that this forest is supposedly a ritual ground for pig demons? It's silly, I know, but... It helps distract my mind from..." Sollux lowered his head as a tear dropped down from his eye.
-
Lorica paused, turning to look away from him out of respect.
"Pig demons, huh? Sounds kind of weird. Why pigs, why not something like a cat?" She asked, trying to get his mind off of the sore subject. It was as much for his benefit as it was for her. -
DM Roarkvil NewbieSollux sniffled before wiping away the tear and looking up, now wondering the same thing. "I don't know. Maybe pigs would just look scarier? I mean, the book say's pig demons, but they're more like boars with demon-like features." He remarked, looking back at the page mentioning said pig demons.
