Toms! Ivyheart thought. Redclaw left, his tail in the air. Ivyheart sighed happily. The pain was no more than a shadow in her mind, a forgotten memory.

Shadepaw began to walk away.

Icepaw watched the older apprentice. Would Shadepaw ever want to be friends with her? She was just Icepaw, little Icepaw, but Shadepaw was..an apprentice. An older apprentice. Somebody older than she was, and so interesting to her. Shadepaw knew cool moved, and Shadepaw could hunt. Icepaw couldn't do any of that. Icepaw was basically a kit, called Icepaw. She had heard that Shadepaw used to be a kittypet, and joined the Clan after Icepaw and her littermates where born, but she didn't remember when Shadepaw came. She'd been so little, and she didn't remember anything back then. Shadepaw was so cool, so interesting. Surely she wouldn't want to know Icepaw?

Shadepaw went over to Icepaw. "Is Dustpaw one of your littermates?" Shadepaw chuckled a little as she asked.

"Yes," Icepaw meowed. "He's my crazy brother."

"He always seems to be in a gaze. It's kinda cute." Shadepaw said.

Icepaw's eyes widened. Does Shadepaw like Dustpaw? How?

Shadepaw glanced at Dustpaw.

Icepaw sighed. She felt awkward here.

Shadepaw looked back at Icepaw. "Something wrong?"

"N-no," Icepaw meowed. Did Shadepaw want to be friends?

"You're actually talking to me.. Unlike Dustpaw." Shadepaw laughed.

Icepaw smiled. "Sometimes I think he doesn't know how to." Her eyes sparkled.

"That's what it seems." Shadepaw said.

"Dustpaw!" Icepaw meowed loudly. She rolled her eyes.
