Alright sorry for the trouble, what's her blowback? In the book dream workers blowback is never mentioned.

Read the plot it explains a blowback, it's the negative side of being a worker and no they are just born that way. -

It doesn't seem like that blowback would affect her.
Possibly when she uses it she passes out and has the nightmares?
Wolf if you don't already have a blowback idea becoming emotinaly unstable for a while? It's up to you though. If your characters a male could we ship them together? -

Name: Myra Stiliski
Age: Sixteen
Worker type: Emotion
Blow back: She looses a little bit emotion the more she uses it, sometimes she can gain some back but it takes a very long time.
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Demisexual
General Clothing: She wears black shorts that are very short, she wears black knee-high socks and black flats. She also wears an oversized navy sweater with dark green letters on it, its from her mom old college. Her gloves are black and have green-ish fingers (like for the touch screen phone kind of things.)
Looks: She has long hair the top is dark blue and it fades into a green-ish teal kind of color, her eyes are a grey-blue she's skinny and sort of tanned. On one ear she has studded piercings all the way up and on the other their small hoops all the way down except for a stud on her earlobe she also has shark bite piercing.
Personality: Myra is very emotionless and kind of air headed on the rare occasion she talks she's very soft voiced. She usually looks very lost because she is, she has a very hard time paying attention.
Background: Myra is an only child, her parents were very happy when she was younger but her mother got sick and died from cancer. Her father had a very large emotional breakdown and Myra was constantly trying to make him feel better by using her worker (she didn't completely know how it worked back then) hence her having very little emotion. For a while she tried to act like she was normal but stopped because it was too difficult for her.
Anything important: She doesn't speak much or really ever unless she feels like she has to.
