workers are rare people with magical abilities that sometimes run in families. Using their abilities requires skin contact and is illegal, which is why most workers are part of crime families. About .001% of the population are workers. Of those, about 60% are luck workers, while other skills, such as death working, emotional manipulation, and memory manipulation, are less common. The rarest type of worker is a transformation worker: they can transform anything into something else.
Each workers ability has something called a blowback.
Always linked to their ability.
For example death work rots a part of their body if, you're lucky it will be a tooth or a finger , but if not a lung or your liver.
Some blow backs could be crippling actually.
The types of working are
Luck.
Emotion.
Physical.
Dream.
Death.
Memory and the rarest of all transformation.
The blow back of an emotion worker could make them unstable for a few weeks.
Physichal could cause broken bones or a loss of hair.
Transformation would be a lot of pain and being forced to randomnly transform into many things at once.
Memory, would be the loss of memories.
Some blow backs are permenant some not so permeant .
I will be taking the transformation worker. There may only be one worker per type. Please claim it before making your character.
Our plot takes place in Scotland, 2016 .
Working is illigeal as it is almost everywhere. However there are a few places on Scotland where this law falls void. The highlands, for example, specifically in places near Dunbar , Edinburgh , Livingston and glass glow. Our characters are students at one of the boarding schools in Dunbar. The people of this sea side town, are generally friendly towards the worker students. However not everyone is happy with that, specifically the tourists from America...

There are no other magics outside of working! Any demon characters or characters capable of doing things that wouldn't exsist in here. There will be no werewolf characters or anything like that, as it doenst fit!
Your character can't store dreams! Everything requires a touch to do, even transfor,action the 'strongest' of working. There is no other powers, physical can heal or hurt. Emotion work can affect people's love life's, anger hate, make them emotionless, so on and so for.

General clothing : Vanille generally wears, leather jackets , steampunk inspired , shirts and necklaces, goggles, boots and jeans. His gloves are a copper coloured with a brown fur trim, with silver cog designs with silver wing designs on them.
Looks: Vanille has, Red hair which is curly and reaches his shoulders, usually tied up in a pony tail. Vanille has a case of hetrochromia , his left eye is green while his right eye is brown. Vanille is 5'3 and petite.
Personality : Vanille, is by no means a rebel, but he does not like to follow rules which suppress how someone feels, about something as simple as loving the same gender. He believes in equality and wishes for a world where curse workers are free
to be who they are.
Background : Vanille was born into a rich family , in Dublin, Ireland. However when it was revealed he was a curse worker his parents abandoned him, at the young age of six, in another country, however one of the caretakers for teh schools as leading a feild trip in France and wtached him change a mugger into a cat, suffer his blowback and then change the man back, he was then taken to Dunbar.

Curse work can be stopped by an amulet which will only work once, it must be made by a curse worker of that type, you need one for each. Most transformation amulets are fake, as only one or two are born per a hundred years.

personality: she is sometimes bubbly, sometimes shy, depending on her mood. well, she has split personalities.
background: she was raised on a farm. her mom went out to work,and her dad would stay at home, harvesting crops. well, one day, her mother got a stroke and died. her dad was too depressed to work on the farm, and they eventually went bankrupt and became homeless. she was sent to an orphanage while her father looked for a home, and she was adopted by abusive parents. that is how she got her scar. -

Heart kins, I stated that you were to ask, her backstory does not explain, how she was revealed to be a worker, no one would adopt a worker child. It doesn't add up much, it's just with the split personalities I'm not sure about that, it generally messes up a soap like this. -

Simply remove the MPD Please her original backstory such as the death of her parents, but the abusive parents thing is a little overdone. So are both of them, however oen is good. Dream working by the way is showing someone a dream by touching them while they sleep. You can control their dream and show the, what you wnat.

Background: Shadow is an orphan that learned quickly the ways of the streets. Her parents died from a worker, and she has vowed vengeance ever since. She has twin daggers, and a Bow Of Darkness, which materializes on will.
Anything important: Watch out, Shadow is fierce in battle and very easy to offend, which is how she got kicked out of 6 orphanages in the first place. -
