Angelique grinned. "So you're good at acting? That's great! I have theatre as well!" She hated it when people just said drama. It makes people think of the bad kind...

Cole said "I'm moderately good at acting. The problem is, sometimes I get stage fright."

Angelique nodded. "Understandable. I can't say I've never had stage fright." She smiled kindly and grabbed his hand, leading him to the theatre room.

Cole followed Angelique to the drama room. He said "Hey, I don't know if you know this but I think Keith wants to break up with you."

Angelique blinked and busted out laughing. "Keith and I were never together!" She laughed, tears in her eyes from laughing so hard.

Cole said "But I thought you said he begged for you to be his girlfriend. You didn't break down?"

"Heck no! He's known for f***ing then fleeing! There's no way I'm gonna be that girl!" Angelique looked serious, her smile replaced with a scowl.

Cole got scared for a moment and said "Okay, I believe you. It was just something I was thinking. Forget I mentioned it."

Angelique sighed and shook her head. "I-I'm sorry for snapping... I.... that's a sensitive subject for me..."

"I'm sorry for bringing it up. I didn't realize it wasn't something you didn't want to talk about. I have things I don't like to talk about." said Cole.

Angelique forced a smile. "Mine is different reasons than you think. You think I don't like talking of it due to heartbreak, yes?"

Cole said "To be honest, I thought maybe it was jerks who wouldn't know a nice girl if she ran up and introduced herself."

Angelique laughed softly. "Try again. It's because I've never had a relationship and never been kissed. It's a bit weird for a popular girl to not also be the school whore."

Cole said "You never had a boyfriend? I find that hard to believe. You seem like the most beautiful girl in this school. Are you sure?"

Angelique blushed deeply and looked away. "Beautiful? Bah." She uttered, beyond embarrassed as she started going inside the classroom.
