Cole pulled a book out of his backpack and said "Yes. Yes I do."

Angelique nodded again before hearing her "friend". "Hey Angel, baby, why are you hanging with the loser?" Angelique shot him a warning glare that seemed out of place on her.

Cole said "I'm not a loser. Who are you anyway, her boyfriend or something?" Cole wasn't normally this brave, but he didn't like being called a loser.

He laughed. "She kept begging me, but I said-" Angelique cut him off with a slap across the face. "Shut up, Keith. You begged me, you dumb---!" Keith coward back, shocked by the confrontation by the usually calm girl.

Cole got a little shocked form Angelique's sudden slap. She seemed so calm a minute ago. Cole made sure to shut up at that point.

Angelique leaned down and whispered something in Keith's ear that made him go pale as she returned to her seat. She flipped her hair out of her eyes. "Sorry about him, Cole. I promise he'll never bother you again." Her eyes once again gleamed as a smile stretched across her face.

Cole said "Okay. What exactly did you say to him?"

"Oh, that's none of your concern! Don't worry about it!" Angelique smiled and tilted her head, though Keith's eyes screamed for help.

Cole wondered exactly who Angelique was. He just assumed she was just one of those people who can be calm yet unhinged in an instant.

Angelique did her work, smiling slightly as she did so. She was letting him get too close... but he'd never find out.

Cole did his work, diligently. He thought Angelique was really cute but unfortunately he knew that because she had a boyfriend, she was spoken for.

Angelique blinked as she watched Keith tremble. "Want to lie about me being your girlfriend again?" She whispered to Keith, smiling wickedly.

Cole wondered what Angelique was whispering to Keith. Cole just continued to work and not worry about it.

Keith shook his head and looked away, still trembling. She sat back in her chair, her smile now sweet.

Cole continued to work but noticed Keith was shaking for some reason. He thought he was just cold.
