Asher's hands stayed firmly placed down by Sam's lower thighs, close to his knees, so that he make sure Sam wouldn't slip from his arms. Asher smiled at the boy's reaction. He was going to say something that would be considered teasing, but Asher just stayed quiet. With Sam's faced pressed to his neck, he felt insecure and calm at the same time. The night air clung to his body like a wet piece of clothing. It was getting colder and that made him feel more alert. The path wasn't long to get to his Coven, Since they were already half way there before he had even started running. So after a few minutes, they were there. "Sam, we are here." Asher calmly stated and stopped running.
-
Sam had his eyes closed not wanting to see around him, he felt his heart pounding which was strange since it never really happened and he didn't like how it felt. It was odd how quiet Asher was when he ran because if if he did his best he could never be this quiet. He shivered slightly, he was cold from the wind around him, he never did cope well with cold weather. Sam nodded slightly acknowledging that he'd spoken, "You know you have to let go of me if you want me off." He spoke very quietly.
-
Asher's heart raced and he couldn't understand why. "Oh. Sorry." Asher nervously chuckled and mumbled to Sam. He released the male and allowed the male to get off his back. Asher waited patiently for him to get off and turned towards Sam afterwards. "This is it. This is my Coven. I wanted more of welcoming feeling whenever I finally brought someone here. I guess this will have to do for my welcoming. I will get you everything you'll need and I'll find you a room of your own too." Asher elegantly nodded and motioned the male to follow him inside the building. Asher bit his lip. He felt like he should do more to make Sam feel welcomed to the Coven.
-
Sam nodded slightly, "Its fine." He said slowly getting off the mans back. He smiled slightly, "Thanks." He said quietly. He thought for a moment silently embarrassed at what he wanted to say, he debated over it for a moment, "Hey Asher," He started following him inside, "Can I just stay with you? I... U-Um..." He said awkwardly.
-
Asher swallowed hard and nodded. "Yes, You may. Staying within my sight might be better. I would hate for you to be hurt again." Asher shrugged and headed inside. The inside wasn't made like a human home. It was a very large room and two old looking staircases. The walls painted a deep black and the main room done in red. A chandelier with hundreds of crystals swung and made out rumbled noises in the middle of the room. Asher closed the door's behind them, causing a loud squeal to go off because of the rusted hinges. The place was old and silent. However, the place had a elegant beauty to it. The room was lit with candles on shelves and lamps. The floor a shiny marble. The staircases each had red carpets covering them completely. Asher motioned Sam to keep following. He proceeded up the stairs. He didn't worry with holding the rail, Since he had been up these steps so any times. The odd feelings of loneliness pressured Asher, leaving him silent.
-
Sam nodded slightly, he felt embarrassed for asking such a question but he felt like hit had to be asked, he knew he'd feel uncomfortable without someone with him and he just hoped that Asher wouldnt feel like the male was clinging to him. Most of Sam's fears were struck away when he walked in the building, he gaped at how it looked so nice,Killian's place was nice too but it was much more modern than this and was nowhere near as impressive. He barley noticed Asher motioning for him to follow but was glad that he did, he started after the male. He stumbled slightly up the stairs and grabbed onto the rail and followed Asher up the stairs.
-
Asher looked down at his own feet and back at Sam. "Don't fall. I would hate to have to explain to Paolini why I had a broken male with me." Asher smirked and looked back to the stairs. He reached the top of the stairs and looked around at how far up they were. "Some people declare the Gothic appearance to houses creepy or depressing. I find it pleasing and comfortable. I don't see how anyone could live in a delightful place with color's on the rainbow. It's fine with dark color's but it's not my choice." Asher wanted to start a conversation. He didn't want it to be awkward. The top of the staircase had a long hall and many hallways attached to the long halls. "I would take notes on where my bedroom is because getting lost is terrible. The people are rude and awful." Asher headed down the hallway and turned down the second pathway.
-
"I wouldn't break to bits if I fell on the stairs... Probably." Sam said with a small chuckle, he listened to Aser silently and nodded slightly, "Well I guess it's all up to people's opinions in the end, different perspectives... Like art, well I guess architecture can be classified as an art form, also based off opinions I guess." He said watching his surroundings as they walked, "I think I got it so far, Ash." He said, he thought for a moment, "If I'm kind of technically part of your coven... Does that mean I have to wear a cloaky, capey thing all the time too?" He asked a bit curious.
-
Asher gave Sam a soft smile. "Our capes are part of our personality. I probably couldn't live without one. Yes, you will wear a cape. You are very lucky to have me. I pretty much hate all the other Coven's. I'm sure you'll like it better here than with some group that's weak." Asher commented and sighed. He counted the door's down the hallway as they went. "I want to learn about you and your Coven. I've been rude to talk about mine this whole time. Tell me. Tell me about your old Coven. Tell me about you." Asher stated and pulled a door open. He flicked the lights on and went to close his bedroom window, Since immediately the cold rushed after them.
-
Sam smiled slightly as he listened, he really likes those capes. He nodded slightly, "We werent that weak." He mumbled quietly. He looked at Asher, "Well... What do you want to know?" He asked quietly, "I don want to just ramble on about the nothingness." He said and walked into the room, he shivered slightly and was happy when Asher closed the window. He smiled slightly and closed the door behind him and leaned against it not sure how to move or act since he wasn't use to being in other people's room.

Asher watched Sam and opened his closet door. He pulled out another black cape and clicked it around his neck. He felt much better. It was nice to be home and not be somewhere he didn't want to be. He always felt extremely uncomfortable at the balls. "Tell me about your Coven. Do you remember what your life was like before you were made into a vampire?" Asher questioned Sam and stretched. "You can come sit, if you'd like." Asher formed a smile onto his lips. "Get comfortable. I'm sure you'll get use to everything. However, you have to actually try first." He nodded.
-
Sam chuckled quietly, "Oh well um... My life was similar well pretty much the same before I was changed... Things mainly started getting messed up right before Killian made me join his coven." He said he went and sat down beside Asher a little stiff. "I was happy for the out but... Eh... It was odd, the second in command almost killed me when we first met although I don't blame him." He said chuckling. He looked over at Asher, "Its hard to walk into a place and be comfortable." He said with a small pout.

Asher nodded, taking his time to listen. He was about to make a snarky remark but he heard the Main door's open and close swiftly. Asher opened his bedroom door and glared out. He was certain this wouldn't be good. Asher closed the door. "What card would you like to place? The card 'I go and try to get Paolini to understand the situation' or 'We hide you and I do my best at keeping secrets'?" Asher commented and leaned against the wall. He was stiff and alert. Almost, like a cat about to pounce on something. Asher wasn't worried at first, actually he felt fine. He could definitely take on anyone in the group. However, with Paolini it was a 50/50. "Asher!" Paolini sung out into the quiet. Asher cursed.
