Suddenly, a loud barking sound came from the entrance of the cave. "Shadow," Kate cried softly, "they've brought a dog!"

Shadow hissed and then he shot out a fireball

A whimpering sound came out and she heard no more of the dog. She saw a big Hunter come in, along with another Hunter.

Shadow snarled at them

"He killed iur dog!" The smaller hunter said. The bigger one turned his gaze to Kate. "Looks like he has a little mate there? Eh?" The big Hunter took out a knife. (There shall be no guns so Shadow can win) "So we shall kill her first." Kate looked fearfully at Shadow.

Kate jumped behind Shadow before the Hunter could throw the knife.

Shadow let ouf another blast of fire

The smaller Hunter went down. The biggest Hunter grasped his right arm, dropping the knife. Kate slipped Shadow her knife. "Use this in you human form. We can eat him," she said. "He smells good, anyway."

Shadow snarled and he changed to human form

The Hunter looked up and gasped.

Shadow hissed and then lunged at hin

The Hunter fell to the floor, Shadow pushing him down.

Shadow stabbed the man in the heart

The Hunter died. Kate bounded over and turned to human form. She put a hand on his shoulder. "We really need to get a door..or at least a cottage," she said.
