Angelique smiled sweetly. "Here, I'll show you your room." She carefully took his bags and lead the way to the room with the earthly color scheme, her hips having a natural sway. She opened the door and set the bags on his bed. "Does this look alright?"

He followed her to the room, observing his surroundings once they were there. He absolutely adored the decor that seemed to meld together into a very comforting room. It wasn't what he was used to, but he liked it anyway. "This is great. I like it a lot. Do you want a down payment or something to prove I'm serious?"

Angelique shook her head. "No need. I have the bills for this month already paid. I'll leave you to unpack." She walked out, going to the kitchen to take out the chicken parmesan before walking to her room next to his, which had a cool color scheme of blues and greens.

He pulled his suitcases into the bedroom, setting them by the bed. He opened the nearby dresser and began placing clothes into it. He paused for a second to think about what he might have left behind. Precious family photos were probably in his drawers and on the refrigerator. He shook his head.

Angelique lied on her back tiredly, closing her eyes. Her walls were fairly bare and there was a queen sized bed in her room with a green comforter. She slid beneath it and curled up, needing some rest

He made his bed instead of packing. Laying down, he stared up at the ceiling, wondering what he could have done differently to keep his apartment. He sighed, staring off with upset. He was almost angry with himself.

Angelique dozed off quickly, unaware of her phone still playing her Pandora rock radio. She held her knees to her chest and her braid had come lose.
