Angelique heard her phone go off and she read the message before smiling. She replied quickly. 'Well, the basics include a small rent, only about $100 a month since you'll be sharing the house with myself, you can do what you please within reason, and you'll have the house to yourself from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm, as I'm a middle school teacher. Oh, and one other thing, you must be a female.' She hit send and watched the spiral.

SCREAMS SORRY
Taylor heard the tone of the message and he hurried to read it. He grimaced at the tidbit about owning female parts. He responded with a few quick taps: Is there a loophole considering I'm gay? He debated whether or not to click send, wondering if it was even worth it. All it took was a look at his suitcase and he hit the fateful button, sending the message. -
*jumps and hides*))
Angelique blinked and smiled. 'Well, I suppose so! After all, I'm a woman, so I dont have to worry about gay men! Just come to the address on the flyer!' She typed. She read it three times, debating on sending it. She took a deep breath before clicking 'Send', the spiral seeming to last decades. -
LOL
Taylor received the message and cliche happy movie music played out in his mind. He screamed out a triumphant "yes", grabbing his suitcases and embarking on a mission to make it to the woman's house as soon as possible. He was shocked at how easy it was to land a place. It was nearly too good to be true! He didn't mind, however, and set off. -
Angelique sighed. "So much for sleeping..." She muttered as she sat up, rebraiding her long red hair and standing. She popped her back and walked to the guest room, beginning to prepare it. It was a large room, filled with earthly scents and colors. In the middle was a queen sized bed with a lush brown comforter and green pillows. She examined the flat screen mounted to the wall before nodding to herself.
-
He eventually came across a great train station that would get him to his destination's area in a flat hour. He took a ticket and entered the waiting train. He texted the number once more Be there in about an hour. The train sounded and took off down the tracks.
-
Angelique heard her phone play her favorite song, It's My Life by Bon Jovi and checked it. She read the message, but didn't think it necessary to reply. She finished up the room before walking out to the living room, beginning to straighten it up as well.
-
The train ride was rather boring. Various throngs of people were spread on the different seats along the car of the train. He sighed heavily, actually very upset that he had been thrown out of the place he had know for most of his alone, adult life. A woman and her boyfriend were arguing in a seat nearby, the female grabbing at his face in pure anger. He grimaced. There was a small child all alone and he almost asked her if she was okay until an older gentleman sat by her. He shed a tear at his situation, but he shook his head and only stared out of the window as the tunnel rushed by at top speed.
-
Angelique turned on Pandora and tuned it to her favorite station, singing along to every song as she began cooking dinner. She made spaghetti and drummed on the stove slightly. Leaning against the wall, she sighed, a smile on her face.
-
Eventually, the train came to an abrupt stop at the end of the trip. He exited the vehicle upon the the driver yelling for passengers needing that destination. He lugged his suitcases from the train, walking the rest of the way to where he needed to be. He slowly stepped up to the front door, raising a strong fist and knocking somewhat loudly.
-
Angelique paused and walked to the door before opening it. "Hello?" She tilted her head, slightly confused as to how this man whom she had helped before found her home as she didn't put her name nor picture on the flyer.
-
He was taken aback at who opened the door. It was the exact same woman from earlier in the day -- the same one who had given him his suitcases. He greeted her with a wide grin. "What a coincidence! I'm Taylor! I'm the one interested in the renting out. I can do a little more than 100. 150 to 275. Anywhere in there?"
-
Angelique forced an awkward smile. "No, no, a hundred is just fine. Come on in." She opened the door fully, revealing the monochrome living room and the modernized stainless steel kitchen.
-
His face turned a bit downcast as he wanted to offer more than she was allowing. He nodded anyway, stepping into the clean home. "This is really lovely," he complimented, warmly grinning. He placed his suitcases by the front door, pulling his shoes off. He ran a hand through his hair, shaking it out gently.
