Jasper hummed, pulling his bag off his back and taking out his notebook where he had where he lived written on the first page in case he were to ever lose it. He could have just told the address to the older but Jasper thought it might be a bit tricky for him to remember. Taking the black notebook out of his bag, he flipped it to the first page and pointed at the neat writing at the top of the page. Under it was a very detailed drawing he had made of his house one day. It was one of his favorite drawings because it had taken a bit of time, his house being relativly large even though only his parents and himself lived there. The picture showed the house and all of the details on it, the sidewalk and the two large willow trees in the front. "I live here but got a little carried away when trying to draw some scenery in the park..I have a tendency to wander places and it gets me in trouble sometimes," the younger said with a small laugh. -
f--- i love those
my favorite is the europe one
The male's eyes narrowed as he examined the page, nodding. Since he had been around New York for basically his entire life (and then some), he was absolutely prepared to take Jaspar to the location in which he had to return. A faint grin was plastered onto his face once he saw the well-completed drawing. "I can help you get there. Also, that's really fantastic," he complimented, motioning towards the notebook. He looked off as it was somewhat of a coincidence that he had come across somebody with artistic ability just after coming off from an art gala. It was one of the little things in life that always had a way with him. They usually were positive, but they were negative when it had to do with his emotions and how he was unable to act on them. He once again shook his head. "I can have you take the next train on train route 654. Or...I can drive you?" -
it was an ad before my youtube vid
mom please wake up dad's with a slut and your son is smoking cannabis
Jasper closed the book gently and shoved it back into his bag, zipping it up. Blood rushed to his face at the compliment. The only person who had ever complimented his work was his art teacher in High School and his parents. It felt nice, like someone actually care about his work. "T-Thank you!" He beamed, putting the bag back on his back and thinking what the man had said over. He seemed trustworthy enough for some stranger in New York City. Jasper wasn't a big fan of public transportation either, so the second option was looking better each second that passed. "Can you drive me, if it isn't too much of a hassle? You're not too busy?" -
oOOOOHhhh a lil bit of melanie
His grin grew wider at the seemingly upbeat reaction out of Jaspar. Kyland gave a single clap of his hands. "Now, I wouldn't offer if I was too busy or if it was a hassle. There is one condition, however..." Dramatically, he looked off and into the distance. "I have been out the entire day, and.." He flicked his head to the side, his eyes following a random passerby with an oversized puffy, fur coat most likely made from artificial hair. "And I, Kyland Herrick, absolutely need..." He clenched one fist, "To go home and change out of these clothes." He smiled, returning his face to the male. "If that's okay. I am done with this suit and really would prepare something more comfortable." -
*prefer not prepare

she's my queen ugh
The older's grin seemed to be contagious because it made Jasper give a small, soft smile. He put his phone in his bag, assuming there wasn't any reason to have it out seeing as this guy didn't seem to be of any threat. Jasper gave a small, childlike laugh at how dramatic the man was. He covered his mouth right after, though, embarrassed. "That's fine. Of course, you didn't need my permission since it's y-your car and.." Jasper trailed off, taking a deep breath and stopping himself. "Yeah, that's okay."
aw cute little jasper has no social skills but is still adorable -
yesss omg
aweeee is okay jaspar
Kyland slightly chuckled, but was quick to cease this laughter as he did not want to embarrass the other. He pat his own knees a few times before standing up. "Perfect. Do you have all your stuff together? If so, we can start walking to my car. It isn't too far from here, so you are aware." He wasn't lying, either. It was only a few blocks away where he had been careful to park it in an enclosed area. Since he had lived there for so long and because of his abilities, he always was sure of the best spots to keep away from thieves and the likes. He felt his stomach growl, and this worried him somewhat. Figuring that he could just grab a steak from the freezer at his home, he shook away that other set of reasons to be anxious. -
did u see my emo deer drawing it's gr8
Jasper was quick to stand up as well, adjusting the bag on his back. Since it didn't have much inside of it, it was pretty lightweight and easy to carry on his back. He was looking up at the older man now because he was much shorter than him. "Yes, this is all I have with me." Jasper responded, running a hand through his soft hair. -
i can feel the emo leaking out of it
With a simple nod, he replied, "Great. Now, just a few things about the city.." He looked around before staring back at him. "Have you ever considered carrying pepper spray? Or something along those lines?" He turned adjusting himself and observing the passerby. Some were fairly flamboyant with their hair done-up into outlandish styles, and some were business-like with suitcases and Blackberries to match. "Because in a place like this, it's super ideal to have. There are a lot of crazy f---s out there. Ah, excuse my language." He was not certain whether or not the male was comfortable with that sort of tongue. Kyland didn't typically speak with them, but he had a few slip-ups here and there. -
that was the idea
Jasper hummed, shaking his head slowly. "My parents don't let me carry anything like that. Even if it's for a good reason like that. Stuff like that..it's too violent. If people would have some simple morals you wouldn't even have to be afraid of someone jumping you.." The younger visibly flinched at the curse word. His parents never cursed or raised their voices. Of course, walking through the city, he had heard quite a few choice words and had been called some of them, too. -
u nailed it
Based on the younger's responses and the way that he had cringed against the foul word, Kyland was aware of how innocent he was. "I suppose. No one is going to mess with you when I'm around, hopefully." Thinking over the distance that they had to walk, a bit of guilt crept up on him. He apologized. "I'm sorry that I'm not getting a cab to my car, but I only brought enough money with me to go to the gallery I was at. There's another tip, only bring what you need." He itched his chin. "Anyways, I suppose we should get moving. Follow me." He found an open spot in the people walking and began to take a few steps. -
bows
i just burst out laughing cause i imagined jasper kissing someone
"what? o-oh, we're kissing now? okay ill shut up, u-uhm"
Jasper bit his lip once again and nodded. "Thanks for the tips. You're very kind to help a stranger like this.." He started to walk behind the older man, gently pushing through groups of talking people to stay close behind him, careful not to step on the heels of his feet. He wanted to make sure he didn't get lost again because the chances of someone else helping him were slim to none. -
LOL stop xDDD
"It's nothing noble. I think people should help other people when they need it. We're all the same." He almost laughed at himself because he, indeed, was not the same. "You're welcome, though. It is honestly no problem." Rubbing at his arm, he could feel himself slowly start to pale. He knew that a meal was necessary. Reassuring himself that he would be fed soon, he pulled in a deep breath to calm his body down. All of his attention was on arriving at his car, and so he picked his pace up yet also being sure to stay within reach of Jaspar. -
jaspers voice: "k-kyland? how is that gonna..you know..f-fit?"
xDD
When Kyland picked up his pace, Jasper did too, not really knowing what the real rush was. He decided as they were speed walking to send a text to his mother as soon as they got to the car to let her know that he was okay and that he would be home soon enough. His mother was somewhat of a worrier and he didn't want her to worry at all. His father was probably at work right now, though. He's a professor at a university while his mom is an interior designer who works from home. -
f--- zane omfg x'DDD
He swung a left at the intersection of 5th and Willow, nearing the street on which his car was parked, and he realized how lucky he was not to have gone too far off. The more time it took to get settled and home, the more of a frame there would be to shift and that was the last thing he wanted. He found it ironic that he had mentioned to bring what was needed but he hadn't done that. He scoffed at himself as he continued on. "We're close, now," he said aloud.
