It was a surprise to Kyland when he easily slipped under the green light, on his way down the back roads once again. He clicked the radio on, some random pop song once again playing out. It was "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran, which he thought sounded pretty and left on. He felt his stomach rumble slightly and knew that he needed to get a fix. It wasn't too drastic just yet and so he was alright for the moment. -

Jasper perked up at the song, it once again being one of the few songs he knew. He had heard his father sing it to his mother late at night sometimes when he got home from work. Jasper began to sing, his voice going pretty well with the song. He was someone who found it hard to sit still so he was moving a bit in his seat, swaying a little or at least as much as he could with the seat belt on. -

Kyland continued along until the street on which the apartment complex was located came up on his left. He turned in, smoothly heading to his parking space. Once again, because Jasper seemed to be interested in the song, he didn't turn the radio of just yet. He rested his face in his palm, holding his eyes on Jasper as though he were stargazing and trying to find the perfect constellation. His face wore another one of those pearly white grins. -

Jasper turned his head to look at Kyland as he continued to sing, blushing at the intense gaze the older male was holding on him. When the song finished, he unbuckled and leaned over the center console so he could play with the older's hair for a moment. "Why are you looking at me like that, friend?" He said quietly with a soft smile. -

Kyland leaned into the touch for a second, shaking his head after a moment. "I only stare at things that I find really beautiful...so I guess you are." Ge exited the vehicle with the statement, grabbing the baga from the trunk. He could feel his stomach doing numbers on him, both in a flustered nervousness and in hunger. -

Jasper blushed deeply at that, and leaned back into his seat for a few moments. Did Kyland really find him beautiful? Jasper didn't really find himself beautiful, but maybe beauty was in the eyes of the beholder. He took a deep breath before getting out of the car, closing the door behind him and moving to head up the stairs. -

Kyland locked his car doors, following Jasper up the staircase. He was happy that he found a human being that he found to be so exquisite, and that also terrterrified him. He never wished for himself to fall in love with anybody, and there he was digging himself deeper into this person named Jasper. Chewing the inside of his cheek, he sighed. -

Jasper went up the steps two at a time, excited to go ahead and get back to the room. He was the first to get to the door of the room, probably because he was in such a rush and wasn't the one carrying bags up the stairs. He stretched his arms a bit as he waited for his new friend to make his way up the stairs. -
they're really pretty to look at
Kyland eventually made it to the door and unlocked it, pushing it open to allow Jasper the firsty entry. He rubbed at his shoulder as he waited, thinking about how he possibly had fallen so simply. His heart had never felt that type of emotion before and it was in the middle of upsetting and amazing. He knew that their fate would be one of three things, but for the moment, he assumed things would be okay. -
i'm scared i'll break it though
Jasper skipped inside, heading straight to the living room where he slid his shoes and socks off and threw his beanie on the coffee table. He was really hungry by then and skipped into the kitchen, waiting for Kyland to come in with the boxes of cereal. He hopped up on the counter to sit with a bit of effort, his legs being short enough so when he swung them they almost touched the floor but didn't, letting the sleeves of the older man's shirt he was wearing go past his fingertips. -
lol i dropped my glass one as soon as i opened it and nothing happened thank god
Kyland would be lying if he said he didn't stare at the other boy's bottom for a moment. He puffed out more air and stepped inside, throwing the door shut behind him. He side stepped into the kitchen so that the bags wouldn't smack against the side walls of the doorway. He set the bags on the counter next to Jasper. "Now we are all stocked up on bananas and cereal." From the bags, he took the meat and put the packages into the refrigerator with ease. -

Jasper clapped like a child and reached for a banana automatically. He had always peeled bananas upside down ever since he was a kid when his mother told him that was how monkey's did it, and at the time he really wanted to be like a monkey. He flipped the banana upside down and peeled it, taking a large bite and moaning at the taste. He had been so hungry. -

Kyland's eyebrows and nose twitched at the boy's action, but once again said nothing of it. He folded the bags very meticulously and once he did so, he put them in a cabinet underneath of his sink. This was where he kept kitchen related things that may be useful at a later time. He stayed crouched for a moment and once he felt ready, he stood up. "I have tomorrow. So...I don't know if you want to stay the night. You could probably come to the clinic with me..But that's your choice to make."
