"They might have given him more than nine lives, do you think?" She stiffened with the thought of it.

Mosspaw sadly shook his head. "No, they were only powerful enough to give him four lives."

She turned to look at the battle scene, realizing that Windclan would probably break the warrior code and kill her clanmates.

WindClan, retreat!" Darkstar called as WindClan retreated. Mosspaw noticed that...Blossomflower was dying.

Moonshine followed Mosspaw's gaze, and started to rush over to Blossomflower's side. "Mosspaw, grab me some chervil, cobwebs, and goldenrod!" She directed the apprentice.

Mosspaw quickly did as he was told and followed Moonshine.

"Chew the goldenrod." She instructed as she extracted juice from the chervil and dripped it onto Blossomflower's wounds.

Mosspaw did, and he handed it to Moonshine.

She carefully put the goldenrod and cobwebs into place on the wounds. "We can't carry her back to our territory."

Mosspaw sighed. "She's going to die?"

"I've done all I can. Her fate is in Starclan's paws now." She replied.
