" figures but what if I have a plan to trick him?" Mathew smirked putting his hand on her shoulder

Raven blinked as she looked at him, confusion on her face. "Trick him...?"

" when i became king the crown creates the illusion of me being human!" Mathew smiled

Raven blinked wildly. "Y-you'd do that...?" She murmured, stunned. "I-I mean, wouldn't it be easier if you found someone better...?" She looked back it the stream, frowning slightly.

" no ones better than you! You get me and, I'm sure as the devil himself I get you!" Mathew said kissing her cheek with a blush then sticking both feet on the ground.

Raven blinked and blushed as she looked at him. "Well, it doesn't matter. I ran away. For good." She flashed her best smile.

" you know he'll still look for you...your the next heir to the kingdom," Mathew said

Raven scowled. "He can cast up another heir for all I care. If he was truly concerned, he wouldn't have hurt me."

" he did what?!" Mathew grabbed raven's upper arms then picked her up slightly," he hurt you?! How?!" Mathew looked at her castle in rage thinking about how he could've hurt her!

Raven tensed, a bit frightened, but she looked away and shifted her hair so the bruises on her neck could be seen.

" I really want to hurt him but of course that's a demon inciting to naturally want to do that but, I just don't want to see you hurt," Mathew nearly cried then hugged her.

Raven hugged him tightly. "I-I'm okay, Matthew... i-it doesn't hurt anymore..." She decided not to mention the aftermath of her coughs.

Mathew hugged back and fought back a tear.

Raven smiled sadly as she pulled away, gently cupping his cheek.

Mathew put his hand on hers and pulled it down softly," I'm soo sorry raven.."
