Raven cried into her father, who held her tight. "It's okay... shhh.... you'll move on...." he soothed as Raven shook her head. "No I won't, Papa!"she wailed.

Mathew sighed," yes mom, let's go now..." Mathew flew through the portal to the under world

Raven pulled away from him. "You don't understand! You.... you... ugh! I love him, Papa!" She confessed, a shocked look spreading across his face. "No!" He boomed angrily

A battle suit was prepared for him and the crown still atop his mother's head

Raven jumped as her father became violent, throwing her against the wall and gripping her neck, lifting her up. "A demon will not rule my kingdom, Raven!" He yelled as she whimpered. He stormed out, leaving Raven hacking up blood on the floor.

Mathew sat on the throne and his mother smiled
" I'm proud of you, and look at how well you've grown..." She said -
Raven stood slowly, stumbling she threw her crown. "Find someone else to be your daughter!" She screamed before jumping out of the window and running off, tripping over herself a few times. She ran blindly and found herself at Matthew's shack. Her shoulders slumped as she sat in front of the door, crying.

A tall vampire cam in the room," marceline my dear may I speak to you?" The man asked as he set down a corps -
Raven stared out into the dark cave, holding her knees to her chest. She had no where to go, no one to turn to... she was actually scared.... she buried her face in her knees and sobbed.

Mathew sighed he layed down on the chair as his mother and grandfather spoke forwas only about what felt like forever

Raven soon managed to cry herself to sleep, curled up tightly upon his porch. She felt awful for crashing at his place, but she'd leave by morning.

Mathew saw marceline return,"now get ready we can start shortly..." She said with a smile," but don't listen to your grandfather..."

Raven curled up tightly, shivering. She tried to keep herself warm as she slept restlessly.

Mathew nodded he was transferred to a court yard. His mother held a crown in one hand and a sword of demon blood in the other..." Are you ready my son..." Mathew nodded

Raven woke suddenly, bolting up. She had the worst nightmare! Her father had thought Matthew had stolen his daughter and went to kill him! She shook her head, trembling.
