Setting: Victorian Era England
C1 is a rich, young aristocrat who inherited his/her grandfather's estate when he passed away. C1 is hiding a multitude of secrets that were looked down upon by society. (They're gay/les or bi) And since they are Christians who are trying to make it, they hide many similar things about themselves. C2 is a social, lower-upper class that attends many galas and such at the time. They have a rich father, and also keeps their fair share of secrets. The biggest one? They killed a man once. Why is unknown, but his/her father covered it up for them. The two merely know of each other before they meet at a ball. -

"Corbett!" His father yelped, from downstairs.
"Hold on!" A gruff response was given by the tall man. He straightened his tie out in the mirror, blinking a few times. 'Another gala tonight..' He thought to himself, his steel blue eyes settled on his own reflection. His father and all of his siblings were going, of course, with their spouses. Corbett was just being dragged along, in hopes that he would find a nice lady to court. Of course, Corbett knew that this wasn't going to happen. Corbett hadn't felt any romance for quite some time, not even a spark. And he accepted it, regardless of what society thought. Corbett knew, though, that eventually he would force himself to marry a woman. If he was to head the family, he needed to make a good example. But now wasn't the right time, he felt. He spun around, his back to the mirror as he slipped on his black, greased dress shoes. He sleeked his hair back with some gel one more time, combing through it once. He closed the black curtains of his room, forbidding any lighting to glare into the large room. Corbett pranced downstairs, his siblings waiting. "Good evening, Dudley. You look nice. You as well, Mitchel." He said, addressing his sister's husbands. "Oh! And- Oh. Zena, is it? Dallas? This is your wife? Isn't she lovely!" He said with a grin. "You look beautiful, Zena. You caught a good one there, Dallas." He said with a warm smile. Dallas grinned at him, looking over to their father. "Let us head out then, huh, father?"
"Of course." He said, as Corbett followed the family out.
