Keri thought for what she should say to respond that would not say where she was really from. "Well. I'm from a place far away from here. I didnt like it there for how some things were." she responded. "How about you?"

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie nodded. "Same. It's a lot like this, actually... but there was a really big war." She sighed and shook her head. "It was expected we all fight, but I wanted no part in it."

"A big war? I think I understand." Keri said as she turned to her. "Hopefully everything is alright back there." she thought.

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie sighed and flopped on the bed by the window. "Dibs!" She yelled happily, basking in the light.

Keri smiled and walked to the other bed on the other side from the window and sat down on it. "I wanted this one anyway." She said loud enough to be heard by her.

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie giggled and sat up, her stomach growling. She got out some cheese from her knapsack and happily began eating. "Would you like some?"

Keri leaned up and looked over to her qith a smile. "Yes please. Of I can." she said standing up and walking over to her.

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie held out the amazing cheese that she had smuggled, wearing a sweet smile. It was obvious that she was oblivious to the evils of the new world.

Keri grabbed the cheese she was holding out and lifted it up slowly, inspecting it before she began to eat it where she stood. A smile coming to her face as she nodded her head to the other girl.

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie laughed. "Don't worry, I don't poison things." She sat back and pulled out a book from home full of family photographs

Keri smiled and walked back to her bed and laid down on it. "I was just being careful." she said looking up to the ceiling

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie nodded. "Understandable. Taking food from strangers where I'm from can kill you." She put up the album.

Keri nodded her head in undwratandment as she leaned up and grabbed her bag placing it beside herself a bit and looked around

Fandomfreak NewbieGracie yawned and curled up under the blankets. It was really uncomfortable, as she usually slept in just her underwear, but sharing a room was going to limit that.

Keri looked into her bag and pulled out a small bottle of water she had and sipped some before placing her bag under her bed and the bottle on the floor beside her. She laid back down on her side facing the wall as she slowly closed her eyes a little to rest.
