"I had forgotten how fast they were, it was so long ago..." shadow whispered. she heard a twig snap off the tree. she turned around and was knocked off the branch.

Clem peeked out the top of the tree to spot shadow's perspective and rushed quickly to her to grab her arm.

shadow quickly woke up "g.. get out of here!" werewolves sorrounded them. shadow got up. there was at least 13 of the wolves. Her eyes glowed and her tail mulitplied into 9 tails "THEY WILL POROBABLY KILL YOU! RUN!" shadow yelled.. she then was attacked. claws and blood everywhere. she could not see natlaya or clem. only darkness

Clem stared at the werewolves from a distance.
She needs help, she thought.
Then, Clem took out her hatchet and killed 8 of them.
She then glared at hopeless shadow. -
scratches covered her face. her left ear was torn. tails were lifeless. *Am.. I still alive?* a voice rung in her head like sweet church bells. shadow opened an eye. only to feel rain down-pouring upon her head. "where.. where are the rest of the werewolves?" she tried to get up, but pain shot up her leg and stung like crazy

"They ran off." Clem wippied the blood from her cheek.
"Your rather half dead" she smirked and slid the hatchet back into her bookbag
"I'm Clem, pretty homeless " -
"oh, well.. hello then. I'm shadow, I am basically a loner right now.. if thats what you want to call me" she looked around, clem was right.. they did run off. There was only Mahina there, she must have been following. The young kitsune walked over and stared at shadow. "what happened to you this time?!"

she sniffed. "you are a cat......" shadow looked at clem again. "whiskers, smell, everything.."

Clem starred at machina. Hm.
She gave them space -
"Lost kitty" Clem replied to shadow's confusion
Her ears twitched very calmly -
mahina rolled her eyes and sighed "maybe you should stay on the safe side.. you are too weake to do your little adventure stuff right now" then she walked away. shadow stared at the girl.. so different, her brown eyes were hypmotizing. "do I know you?" she said, voice cracking a bit

shadow's wounds healed instintly. "demon powers" she muttered as she focused on the healing of her leg. her tail and ears were now fixed and she could walk again.

"Uh.. not sure "
Clem tried to be smart about her question
"I see strangers every day, and you're the one hurt " she giggled slightly -
Clem was stunned.
"Oh.. nevermind then" -
"hmm" she found a long stolen katana from one of the dead werewolves and its case. "this could be useful" she said as she put the strap over her and put the sword carefully in it's place. "One last question, how did you end up with a hatchet?"
