I still found ways to confuse even him though. Ahh, cool. Interesting that you do, to me, that is. I know a group of people who went to school with me who would say something along the same lines as that there. That is understandable.)
"So you are not the hirer of mine? Yeah, Roslyn is still here alive and breathing as you can see." Umbra said to the man. "...how can I be sure you are who you say you are and are not here just to take her hostage yerself for your own and take the payment from me?" he asked as he stood crias-armed keeping eyes on the man as he stood there and walked beside Roslyn a bit. He may be who he says? Shall I go ahead and hand over Roslyn to him? he thought to himself as he reached over and placed a hand on her shoulder lightly trying to help her.
"...Maybe. Is the payment of the amount specified?" he asked as he reached out for the envelope wanting to count the amount within for himself. "If I may ask, I would like to count the payment before you depart." he said to him. -
I guess you must be a confusing person to most then. It would annoy me due to people not truly stating the facts with great detail.))
"No I am not." Roslyn's brother said with a sigh. "Why would I do such a thing to my dear sister Roslyn?" He asked keeping his eyes only on Roslyn. A shiver had gone up Roslyn's spine when only realizing it was Umbra's hand. She sighed and moved her own hand to his. Roslyn placed her hand in his and squeezed it gently. She was completely terrified and unsure of what to do. "Go on ahead. There is not a penny to be missed." Roslyn's brother said handing him the enevlope a bit more forcefully. He seemed to have ignored Umbra almost completely. -
Maybe, I have been called confusing, weird, strange and a few other things. Took them all as compliments as usual. Detail is one of the most necessary things when trying to prove a point and in an argument.)
"I see, sir." Umbra said to him and turned his eyes to Roslyn. "Is he your brother, Rose?" he asked her wanting to be sure he was what he claimed to be to her. His eyes turned back front to the man and felt Roslyn squeeze his hand some. He reached out with his other hand to the envelope and grabbed it, opening it up onehanded and slowly counting the amount. "Hmm...this Is in full, yes. As you said. " he replied to the man and turned towards Roslyn. "Do you wish to go?" he asked her quietly in her ear. -
Ah, I wish I was more like you. I took most of those thing as rude comments and kept them inside ignoring, well trying to ignore what the person has to say.))
"Yes he is, Ace. He's Ross Carmen." Roslyn said as silent as possible. "No, not at all." Roslyn could feel the tears growing in her eyes. The repeated beatings, the screams, the pain for losing her dignity, virginity, getting depression and anxiety. She could feel everything return just by her own brother's presence. She covered her right eye which she could feel a tear finding it's way down her cheek. "Please don't make me go, Umbra." Roslyn whispered as silent as possible. -
Random question; you listen to Skillet by any chance?)
The key is finding a light in the seemingly and possibly negative comments given to oneself. In every darkness is a speck of light, in a way.)
Umbra nodded his head to her. "I see. So he is as claimed to be." he said quietly to her. Umbra stared at her for a while thinking. What Is it? Is it so bad if she returns? Maybe...no This was my job. My duty. Still...he argued in his head with himself as he stared to her. He slowly, but somewhat quickly pulled her towards him, wrapping his arms around her lightly as he held her head on his shoulder. "I won't make you go if you wish not to. I'll find a way to keep you safe from it. Keep calm at your best, Rose. " he whispered to her quietly as he loosened his arms around her and stared back to the man, now known as Ross. -
No, I have heard of them. A few of my friends are actually fans of them but I'm not best when exploring new music. I'm actually listening to a song my friend just suggested to me and see what I think of them.
I guess, you're right in a way.))
Roslyn was surprised to Umbra's actions. She eventually calmed down but still feeling a bit at panic. "Thank you, Umbra. I'll try to calm down" Roslyn whispered as she closed her eyes. Ross had a confused face and looked at the two. "I don't have all day sir. May we hurry this up?" Ross said as he began tapping his foot.
I just finished one song and they're pretty good.)) -
I was wondering because I'm listening to them on repeat here along with a few others; some Audioslave, Blue October, and Metallica. That I see. Cool. Which song is it? Was it?
Mhm. Just try to give it a try if possible.)
Umbra smiled as he heard her speak to him and sighed lightly. "You're welcome, Rose. Take some deep breaths, maybe." he said to her. His eyes kept to Ross as he spoke up again. "I wonder...would you like this back?" he asked him raising the envelope up to show what he was talking about and held it out for him to take back. "Rose is to stay by my side, she says she does not wish to go with you here and so she shall stay." he said staring to Ross blankly. He gently patter Roslyns back to try to help her more keeping a eye on Ross as he waited. -
It was Hero, Monster, Awake and Alive, Not Gonna Die and lastly Sick of It.
Mhm, always good to try something ^^))
Roslyn tried taking deep breaths although it helped being wrapped in Umbra's arms helped her most. She felt safe and secured. Roslyn soon wrapped her own arms around Umbra feeling quite relaxed. Roslyn began feeling flustered and soon her face turned into the red and pinkish blue it once was. "You must be mistaken, it is your job to take her life and you have chosen not to. Instead you bring her alive and breathing. It's either I take her or you shall regret it. This money you're returning will be used for you and her own death." Ross said, threatening him. I can't thank him enough. He has done so much for me. Thank you, Ace. You are a true saver. Roslyn thought as she sighed finally feeling relaxed. -
Ahh, those are some of the "well known" ones there. Makes sense, all are good to me. Nome in my favorites by them though.
I would say something about that, but, I don't want to get a bad opinion from you. So I settle for this; yes, it is good to try something new.)
Umbra kept an arm wrapped around her as he listened to Ross' words to them. He kept his gaze upon Ross mostly though, every few lowering to look to Roslyn in front of him closely. He couldn't help but smile as he looked to her then back to Ross blankly. "No, you are the one who are mistaken. It WAS my job to take her life. I have my reasons for keeping her alive and not killing her then. It will be used for our death, you say?" he said to him. "She'll be able to live longer them though." he said to himself quietly staring to him. He tossed the envelope to Ross it landing at his feet. "Take it back. I'll ensure that it is not used for the such." he said calmly to him. I'll protect you...with my life Rose. You have no worries here. he thought. -
I have just been listening to the songs one song after another.
Oh, no say something, I won't give an bad opinion. If I were to I would be very rude, though since you are a good friend to me I won't be rude.
Definitely. Though something new I wouldn't try is different religions. I might do research but I wouldn't try performing or become one of a new religion..is that weird or offense? I feel as if it is?))
Ross bent down to pick up the letter while glaring upon Umbra. "You'll wish you had taken the life of her." Ross said as he stormed his way out of the flower shop. Roslyn stood silent as she sighed. "Thank you for that, Ace. Though his words are true. They'll possibly do anything to get their toy back. If anything he's trying to find many assassins as possible as we stand here." Roslyn said as calmly as possible. -
Ahh, I see. I've you listnes to; Those Nights, Yours To Hold, Lucy, or The Last Night? Those are my favorites by them.
Ah, okay then. Good, good. What I was going to say was this; You said it is ALWAYS good to try something new which really is a lie. It should be most times it is good to try something new, because, at times, it will end badly. Injury, jail, Prison, Below sea.etc. you know what I mean, no?
That with the religions sounds pretty much like what I do, research but no change. I Don't think so, shows you are open-minded in a way, no? Dont, it is what me and my brother does. Research religions. Though, me and him, do not necessarily associate ourselves with a religion.)
Once Ross was out of the vision and unseen, Umbra turned and looked down upon Rose smiling to her. "You are welcome, Rose. I thought they may be. Let them do as they wish. Listen to me, Rose. I'll protect you. You have free rights to come with me, Jack and a some other of the men away from here of you wish. Some have said they want to stay here." he told her calmly as she did. "All will be alright, just give it Time. Okay?" he asked looking to her as he lightly patted her shoulder. -
My favorite one that I have heard so far was Hero.
Ah, true you have spotted my mistaken. Thank you for the correction.
Cool, I do my most research on the Greek religion it's very special in it's own way.))
Roslyn nodded and returned the smile to Umbra. "I'm glad you'll be willing to protect someone unlike myself. I enjoy being around your crew members and I'm happy they enjoy being around me as well." Roslyn said as her smile grew. Someone to protect me? Wasn't it I whom always had to protect myself. Strange isn't? Roslyn thought amongst herself. "I'll give it time, Ace." Roslyn said sighing with relief not having to go with Ross.
A random question, you don't have to answer; what is the most important thing as a society to have? I was just thinking about it because there is so much chaos how could a society stay together in such a state of human nature?)) -
Hero was my favorite before but it played repeatedly on the radio and I lost interest in it.
Of this was nearly anyone else, they would not have taken that as you had. You're welcome.
Cool. I have been studying Christianity alot because I know very little about it. On the side reading a bit about Greek though, not much.)
"I am willing and possibly able to protect you with help. We will do our best to help you out And make it, Rose." he said to her. "We enjoy your company, I've heard from them and know for myself." he said with a chuckle lightly, smiling then as he stood straight up beside her. Umbra nodded his head to her. "Good. And keep hold of hope for it is our drivers in us. What do you wish to do Now? Collect the items and return to the ship?" he asked her curiously.
The most important thing for a society to have is balance maybe. You know, not all good not all bad. Like day and night, something near a balance between the two and different sides, or possibly, types of people within it, maybe?) -
A good reason to lost interest.
Yeah, most people would rather be extremely upset trying to prove they're correct. To be honest, it would have been a wasted argument.
My religion is Christianity but I don't fully believe in God himself. I'm not an atheist yet I'm not fully in belief, I'm neutral I guess.))
"Alright. You're too kind it's dangerous." Roslyn said chuckling at him. Roslyn nodded towards him. "Let's collect the items but after returning to the ship let's have a meal. That sounds good right about now." Roslyn said smiling. She really hasn't eaten ever since boarding the ship. Only on the second to last night she had ate something. Though now she felt the urge to end her hunger.
Hm, balance. That's understandable to see balance as a key to keeping a society together.)) -
Mhm, it is a good reason.
Yeah, most people would be like that. Agreed, it would have been.
You are open-minded as I said before, I think. If so, that is a good thing. They say to keep an open mind, right? So in a way you are. Neutral, I guess, is sort of where i would be in the spectrum.)
Umbra chuckled at what she had said. "Too dangerous? Would you want me to go find your brother and hand you over after all? Is that unkind?" he asked her chuckling, knowing her answer likely as he asked it. He nodded his head and walked over to the counter for the items. "A meal would be good when we get to the ship. Agreed. " he responded as he picked up most of the items waiting for them there That wewe brought out.
Mhm. It is. Balance is supposed to be good, I believe. So it May be good to have in society. Not too one sided.)
