I'm trying by listening to music but it's not helping.))
Roslyn rolled around a bit in her sleep as surprisingly the time went by slowly. Roslyn continued to sleep though a nightmare had corrupted her slumber. Soon awaking not from shock or fright just being bothersome with the nightmare. "Why bother trying to sleep when you're going to have nightmares eh?" Roslyn asked herself as she stood her hair was a bit out of place. Roslyn stood from the bed and strecthed with a yawn. As she walked over to her small suitcase Roslyn grabbed a small mirror and a bursh. Roslyn began burshing her hair to smooth it down. As she burshed her hair holding the mirror in her free hand she could see the crew members dressed as their part. Hm, I feel a bit out of place possibly I could find something I have and try to put something together later on. Roslyn thought. Soon she had her hair in a high messy pony tail having a small lock of hair hold it in place. Standing once more she closed the door, went over to her suitcase, opened once again and began looking through her clothing she had prepacked. -
I see. Maybe a nap? I'm not sure.)
Umbra sat the last barrel down on the ground and sighed. "Last one, right Back?" he asked the man beside him.
Back nodded his head. "Correct, sir. May I ask a question?"
Umbra walked over to the edge followed by jack." go ahead." he said.
"Were bearing land. I have heard some of the men saying they may want to stay on the land for a few days if possible. They want to know of they may?"
Umbra listened and thought for a bit. "As long as they get supplies while we are thre after dropping her off. Sure." Umbra said. -
I took a nap, didn't work.))
Roslyn soon found a book put down in the suitcase a while ago. "Maybe I should read it. See what's the book about. Eh, you never know what you'll find if you don't take risks." Roslyn said as she grabbed the book in hand and stood. Roslyn walked to the door, swung it open and head her way to the upper deck. Soon enough Roslyn was a reading the book in a far corner of the upper deck. She soon felt relaxed in the corner and had gotten comfortable. Roslyn opened the book and began reading, slowly so she would be able to enjoy the book. -
Couldn't hurt to have tried though, no? Actually it could, just likely would not.)
Umbra leaned over the railings and stared down to the sea, spotting a few fish below the water's surface as a smile came to him. "The fish are free and wide all over the sea. Though are unable to walk upon the land as us. Just as we can't stay underwater for as long as they can." Umbra said aloud as he watched them swim away. Jack had walked back and started walking around the decks leaving Umbra there as himself. -
True, it works with most of my siblings so I gave it a try. Seems like I'm different from my siblings.))
Roslyn flipped to the next page taking glances here and there. Seeing Umbra, a few crew members and a man just walking about the decks. Roslyn soon had figured a small gist of the book, it was about a young girl only just wanting to turn into a flower. Roslyn hadn't read much but the first two pages. As Roslyn continued to read she began thinking of her flowers back home. What if I turned into a delightful rose? I wouldn't have much to think of, now wouldn't I? Roslyn thought. "The life of just something delicate can be something so glory in one's eyes." Roslyn murmured softly to herself. -
Yeah. Not every Apple that falls from the tree sprouts wings, though. All are different.)
Umbra sighed and stood up straight watching ahead of himself. "What to do?" he asked himself as he took a few steps back from the railings. He soon started to hum a slight song to himself and then began to sing quietly as he stood there watching out.
I'm sailing away, set an open course for the virgin sea. I've got to be free, free to face the life that's ahead of me. On board, I'm the captain, so climb aboard. We'll search for tomorrow on every shore. And I'll try, oh Lord, I'll try to carry on." he sang quietly to himself as he stared out to the sea ahead of him.
That song has been stuck in my head for a long time so I did this.) -
Ah, completely true.))
Roslyn could hear the faint singing and smiled. It was soothing and calm. She placed the book down closing it shut. Roslyn leaned back against the rear and got more comfortable. Soon enough was very lightly humming along as softly and gentle as possible. -
Yeah)
Umbra smiled as his eyes turned up towards the blue sky above them as he continued a bit more singing.
I look to the sea, reflections in the waves spark my memory. Some happy, some sad. I think of childhood friends and the dreams we had. We live happily forever, so the story goes. But somehow we missed out on that pot of gold. But we'll try best that we can to carry on.
He stopped there and went back to humming to himself as he looked around -
As the singing had died down Roslyn's humming had stopped. Such true words and can be taken to the heart. Ah, the best part of a lovely song, the lyrics. Wonderful voice also. Roslyn thought with a smile. Picking up her book once more she opened the book to what she left off. Roslyn began reading right where she left off but listened to the faint humming she could hear. Roslyn felt much, much more relaxed and the headache had seem to slowly gone but not completely. Roslyn just simply felt relaxed more than ever.
-
Umbra stood straight up and began walking along the railings of the ship, as he kept humming quietly to the song with a smile on his face. His eyes kept to the sea and sky as he slowly walked along, taking a slight glance to the crew who were on deck at the time and spotting Roslyn in a corner there as he continued his walk.
-
Roslyn flipped to the next page with a smile. Soon looking up at the sky. She began whistling a small tone of a lovely song of the lost boy whom may still be in Neverland. Roslyn closed her eyes and sank deep into the scenery. "So peaceful." Roslyn said a spoken out loud.
-
Umbra finished walking around the railing of the ship and walked to temhe barrels he usually is at and took a seat on them closing his eyes as he relaxed on them. He heard the sound of someone whistling on the ship as he laid his head against the walls and got comfortable there opening his eyes to state up to the clouds moving overhead and the blue sky.
-
Roslyn felt as relaxed as she could be. Smiling Roslyn sat down soon stood wondering if she could start or try to start a conversation with the other crew members beside of Umbra. All Roslyn could do was put the book down, arose and turn to face the open wide sea. She was utterly feeling shyness. Usually should would have no problems with meeting new people but these people were completely different in a way from Roslyn's eyes. The less I know about these people the better I could just let go. I should have known this was coming for me but, what are you going to do about it now? It doesn't matter at the moment. I just need to keep my eye out for the chance to possible just end this chaos. Roslyn thought with a sigh. She took in a deep breath slowly exhaling. Letting the sea breeze run through her hair, rest against her face calming the slightly warm air and closed her eyes feeling much, much more relaxed than usual.
-
Umbra sighed quietly as he smiled up to the sky as he quietly started to speak random phrases to himself. "Hello me, meet the real me. And my misfits way of life." he said silently with a chuckle and shook his head. "Just a little longer to go till landfall. A few days or so. Soon to hit." he thought in his head leaning his head on the wall more before he stood up and walked down below deck slowly.
