Matt chuckled ignoring the question, "There should be a hotel around here somewhere... I think." He gave her a gentle push forward and he kept walking.
(I don't know what to type...) -
(I know.....Our post gets shorter and shorter!)
"I don't have a lot of money to stay at a hotel." Avery said as she walked with him again. "So ummm, how old are you?" she asked as she watched the ground past her feet. She shoved her hand in the pockets of the coat to get her fingertips to get warmer. -
Yeah.
*goes back and checks his age*)
"Me? Oh I'm 17, you?" Matt thought for a minute, "Well I have enough on my bank card for a room... If you're comfortable with it we could share a room." He paused thinking about it, "But like we'd get two beds and like..." He took a side step sliding away from her, "I didn't mean it like that..." -
Walks up to Avery,"Hello dear did you say you didn't have enough money for a hotel follow me I can give you food and a nice place to sleep."

"I'm 17..." She said. She looked at him and raised an eyebrow, "That's okay, I mean like you don't have to do that." Avery said as she watched him slide away from her. "I know what you mean, I have a boyfriend, well....now ex." She said as she sighed in annoyance.

"It's fine, I have to get a room anyways and I don't want you to sleep on the street." Matt flinched slightly, "Sore subject I take it. Only time I heard a pissed off sigh worse than that was when my friend Alvin sent my little sister to break up with his girlfriend... And I ran into her the next day." He chuckled to himself, "I need better friends."

Avery smiled softly and walked slowly. "I've never really had best friends, I was always stuck with my boyfriend." Avery said, looking at Matt. "You don't have girlfriend?" she asked.

Matt chuckled and shook his head, "No, I wouldn't of had the time for her and in the off chance I did we'd get interrupted doing anything, well if my family was in town anyways." After thinking for a minute he shook his head, "But, yeah I never had a lot of spare time."

Avery nodded. "Why did you come out anyways, you seem like you have a good life." Avery said as she looked at some buildings that was old-looking. Avery thought about some things but didn't really metion it since she was with a stranger.

Matt was a little shocked for a moment then just looked at the ground, "I don't have my own life, I've got one friend, Alvin. He's the son of a business partner my dad works with. I was... Eight I think, that's the last time I had any real fun or did anything. It might be a little selfish of me but I kind of want some fun."

"Your 17, your suppose to be having fun, whether your parents approve of it or not." Avery said as she put a hand on Matt's shoulder. Avery softly smiled and looked at him, "what kind of fun do you want to do?" She asked.

Matt shrugged, "I haddent really planned it, I was just hoping to have some. Go with the flow kind of thing." He smiled slightly, "So why did a country girl feel it necessary to come all the way out here?"

"Well, my parents don't really care for me, they always yell at me and my dad just recently slapped the crap out of my face." Avery said, "then I caught my boyfriend sucking another girls face and so I just came out here to you know." Avery said afterwards.
