Avery hugged Matt and watched Cole fall to the ground in pain, he held his face and went in for a punch towards Matt's face. Avery kicked him and cried, she looked at Matt and felt her face as it began to swell.

Matt looked at Avery and moved her so the wasn't near him, he punched Cole with all the built up rage and then grabbed his shirt and held him up by it, "I really hate doing things but I feel like I have to." He said now trying to calm himself, "You are going to leave Avery alone unless she wants you around which I highly doubt is going to happen. Why you ask? My uncle is Kyle West and yes that Kyle West the gang master, you don't understand and I'm sure he has a pretty little bullet for your head. Understand yet?"

Cole looked scaredly as he knew who Kyle West was, he pushed Matt off him and an to the elevator, holding his face. "I'll be back!" He said almost knocking out. Avery ran to Matt and hugged him. She cried into his shoulder and just wanted to be comforted.

Matt hugged her, "You okay? Oh well bad question... You going to be okay?" He kissed the top of her head, "I'm sorry."

She cried into his shoulder more. She lifted her head and showed her badly swell up black-eye. "He said he was coming back, he's gonna kill me!" She said and cried more. She looked at him in the face, "thank you! Thank you!" She kept sayin.

"You're going to be okay. And no need to apologize. I should go get some ice for that..." He said studying her, "You want to come with or stay up here?"

"But he's an ass." Avery said. She stopped crying after awhile and wiped her eyes gently. "I wanna go with you!" She said and clinged to his arm, gently.

He looked at her and nodded, "I could carry you if you wanted." He said it half joking.

"Its okay." She said and walked slowly and cautiously to the elevator. She looked around her just in case.

He walked after her trailing behind purposely.

She pressed the button to the elevator and heard it ding, she jumped and walked in. She held the rails tightly.

Matt pressed the ground floor button as he walked in and he swept her into a tight hug, "You're more scared of these now aren't you." He said

"He choked me and slapped me in my face, of course I'm afraid!" Avery said and hug him back. She tooked out her phone and looked at her face, "I'm so ugly, more ugly now!" she said.

"Avery stop, put the phone away." He said

Avery looked at Matt, she sighed and put her phone im her back pocket.
