Orion pulled the girl up out of the puddle as he listened to her. "Do not be sorry, miss. Well, I don't know who you are really. May I ask for your name?"he asked politely staring at her. "I'm Orion, by the way. I would offer my jacket but ice got none." he said as he stared to the sky and felt the rain pour down on his face and smiled. "You seem to not like this weather, why?" he asked liking back to her and diluting his head.

Rain laughed bitterly, "My names Rain. Now tell me Orion does that answer your question?" Rain said and moved some of her soaked hair out of her face, "I say I got the name because it was raining the day I was born, my parents disagree but I know its the truth." She said with a slight smile. She studied him he looked... Suspicious but that really wasn't the right word, she couldn't put her finger on it. She studied him more he looked around her age, "Do... Do you go to the high school?" She asked guessing there was only one in this town.

"Rain, lovely name." he said calmly he looked at her closely and saw she was very wet and was probably best if she got some shelter over her head."Come," he said politely as he pulled her arm a bit "you're getting soaked just standing here, my apartment room is just around the corner." he said as he slowly stepped back lightly pulling her arm. "And yes, I do go to the high school. But, not for the same reason as you." he said looking to her.

Rain let him guide her, "Oh you mean your parents didn't force you out to the sticks for a 'great business opportunity' or something stupid like that." She chuckled to herself then said, "Ooooor is Mr. Dark and mysterious a secret vampire that's been to school since the day it was invented and there for some fun and games and to turn innocents it sluts?" She said with a chuckle, "And if you are, try someone else cause you aren't getting any more than my name." She said still amused and chuckling, this was like the beginning to a bad romance movie.

Orion took Rain by the hand and guided her towards the entrance to the building and held open the door to let her in as he listened to her closely with a blank face. "Suure Rain, I'm a vampire and I'm taking you up to my apartment to take and keep you as my own." He said with a light laugh as he looked to her. "Come on in now." he said to her calmly as he watched her closely observing her. He found her quite amusing to be around and she leaned his interest with the words to which she spoke to him.

Rain smiled and turned to him in the doorway, she put one hand in her pocket and a finger on her lip, "Now, now Mr I have to rules for something like that, nothing below the waist and no school for me." She said laughing, she put the other hand in her pocket and walked in, "Where am I going now, Mr. Mystery?" She shivered slightly, "Another reason I have my name, rain is so cold." Rain mumbled to herself.

Orion smiled a bit as he faced her and listened to her. "Sure, I think I'll make do with that." he said chuckling a bit as he closed the door and walked towards the stairs and stood to the side of them "fourth floor, thief room to the right." he said waiting for her to go ahead up first ahead of him. "Are you cold? I have some blankets up there if you need one to help you warm." he said to her.

Rain smiled slightly, "Yeah... If that's okay..." She followed him and kept quiet, "If you go to the school I'm surprised you didn't hear my name though, are you sure you attend?" She asked even though it was a stupid question. "This is a smaller town... I'd think new kids aren't a normal thing..."

Orion looked back to her as they went up the stairs and smiled a bit. "Yeah, it is okay." he said as he stepped up and got closer to his room. "I go to the school, but I don't really attend it, and I did not hear the name being called either but I am there every school day." He said To her walking. "They are not here, rarely get them here you're the first in a year." he said as he came to the door. "Here we are." he said unlocking the door and opening it up all the way.

Rain nodded along understanding, "Ah well I might of done something totally called for and a little stupid, that really wasn't something that should be done on ones first day." She said blushing slightly, she nodded at him almost as if asking if it was okay to go in. "Oh will you get in trouble for this?" She asked the thought just accruing to her now.

Orion motioned for her to go ahead into the room as he looked back to her and listened. "What did you do exactly?" he asked out of curiosity as he nodded back to her slightly. "Come on in and I'll get the blanket for you, no, I won't get in trouble I live here and all. Not many care what I do in here. Take a seat in the couch." he said to her grinning a bit as he slightly closed his eyes and reopened them.

Rain walked in and froze, "Won't I get everything wet?" She asked as a diversion then sighed, "Some muscleheads may have been picking on me about things... And I may or may not have made a remark about certain parts being similar to ants and said something about their slutty girlfriends and gotten carried away..." Rain laughed nervously with a blush.

Orion walked in and stood beside her as she had froze in place and walked over and got the blanket out of a closer. He looked through the closet more as he listened to her speak and found a pair of jogging pants and a tanktop he had from when he was younger and shorter. He walked over to her and handed her the clothes "here, take these. They seem maybe just a bit small but you should fit into them." he said as he laid the blanket on the couch. "Starting anything with those guys is bound to end badly, be careful." he said relaxed.

Rain smiled, "Yeah, I guessed as much but as of now, it was worth it." She said chuckling, "Sooo is there somewhere I should change? Or an I preforming a show for Mr. Mystery?" She held amusement in her tone and waited to be told where to go.

"It's your death signature of you keep like that, best not do anything too drastic to them, they are not afraid to get their hands wet." he said to her. "Lets see this show" he said chuckling a bit as he said it , " but here," he said opening the door to a small bedroom,"you can change in here if you wish to." he said with a small bow as he opened up the door.
