Spring shook his head."No,she left a little while ago.I think she was going to see a friend."He said,looking over at his brother.

"I honestly couldn't imagine her having friends." He kept his gaze on the scenery off trees. "Maybe she's a completely different person. Maybe she holds a grudge against us becasue we remind her of something that happened in her past? I don't know."

"I don't know either.She said she would be gone until late,so....I guess it's just us three."Spring said,laying his head over on Justin's shoulder carefully.He looked over for his brother's approval.

Justin gave him a small smile, and wrapped an arm around his older brother. "I don't think Hailey know's about what happened, but that's alright. I don't want her to be concerned." He sighed, rubbing Spring's back.

"It's a good thing she doesn't,but also a bad thing,but still nothing to worry about."Spring explained,resting his ears on the side of his head.

"It is, Hm." He said softly, turning his head towards his brother. "Just think, though, we're all alone in the outskirts of town."

"We are old enough to take care of ourself,and make our own decisions.There's nothing to worry about."Spring firmly said to the younger brother.

"I know, Spring. I know." He smiled, keeping his brother close in his hold. He now had a good idea of what he felt for the older boy. "Spring, I do care about you, a lot."

"I know you care about me."Spring let out in a small whisper,looking at his brother from the side.He moved to sit in his brother's lap,tight in his embrace.

Justin wrapped his arms around the boy after he sat in his lap. "We'll get through this, okay?" He buried his face in the other boy's neck.

Spring nodded."O-okay...."He said with worry,but also courage in his voice.They had made it this far,it would be insane if the came to a stop completely!The two would find a way to get through this hard time.

"Mm hm, well, I think we should check on Hailey, right?" He broke away from their embraced, starting to crawl towards his window.

Spring followed not far after,sliding through his window and walking to the door.He unlocked it,jiggling the knob and opening the door.

"I'm glad we had that talk, Spring." He smiled at the older boy, and he genuinely ment it. He went down the hall, making sure Spring followed. "I was thinking, maybe I'd make sandwiches for lunch? How does that sound?"

"Okay,uhm.Sure,sandwiches sound good."Spring agreed,paying no attention as he was lost in thought.Once he snapped,he realized what was going on and opened his eyes,looking to see Justin in front of him and the walls of the tight hallway around him.
