"He's there is, my little brother Chris and Ian it really isn't a lot of people but the more the merrier" Aya said sighing slightly. She grew more concerned with the thought of her brother. She worried about him, he barely could handle being by himself. I hope to God he's ok Aya thought as she slowly closed her eyes. "You were alone during this whole thing?" Jason asked Kaylee.
-
"Oh..I see then." Kaylee said as she leaned up and looked at Aya. She then turned her head towards Jason as she said "Yeah, ever since my parents were attacked by them a long time ago. Since then I've been alone hiding out in the attic then coming here to this store we are in currently. It's been hard trying to survive all alone, your know?" she closed her eyes as she began to think about before the zombies came and her parents were still around and reopened them and put on a small smile to keep herself up.
-
"It is hard to survive on your own with the amount of zombies out there but it's easier to survive on your own. You have plenty of water and food it you have the right amount for yourself but, with a group you get more food and water but you must share. That's a way how people start starving to death, well first they get dehydration will get to people" Jason said thinking about the benefits of being alone and being with a group. Aya nodded in agreement to Jason's response. "Definitely, it's always great to have a plan for the unexpected also" Aya added to Jason's response.
-
"Yeah, if you're alone, more supplies for yourself but yourw not defended as well of they attack you. In a group you will have less supliea each bit more defended from them. Maybe a balance between alone and a big group, like a small group would be best. You still get supplies and defending you are not alone completely. At least I think a small group of maybe five or so would be better, im not sure." Kaylee said as she thought and looked around the store. She thought about what exactly would be best to do as they waited and she laid back down on the counter thinking. "The unexpected, yeah."
-
Aya nodded as she sat down on the ground. "So, I was thinking about once we leave here we take a short route to the pharmacy where I stay, I believe taking a short route is the safest way to get to the pharmacy nowadays you can't just walk a block without seeing someone being eaten" Aya said frowning slightly. I really miss the good old days, it feels like ages since the outbreak, I wish I believed this kind of stuff would happen Aya thought as she took off her backpack and got into a comfortable position. Jason looked down at Aya and sighed softly. "We can only do nothing but pray for a day everything will return back to normal" Jason murmured softly as he began staring up at the ceiling.
-
Kaylee closed her eyes as she listened to Aya and Jason speak. "It would also get is there faster and that would be best for is. Even is it turns out to have a few more along the way, we could run of they came after us." she said opening her eyes and looking over to Aya. "There is alot out there being eaten by them, I don't feel good when I see it but I keep myself together best I can." she said as she smiled a bit.
-
Jason and Aya soon became silent. There was nothing left to say. Nothing left to do but wait patiently. Soon Aya was staring down at the floor thinking of nothing but her brother. She tried her best to keep her mind of it but it was nearly impossible for her. There's nothing to do but wait, just wait it could take a few hours but Chris can take care of himself, I hope Aya thought as she began softly tapping the floor. Waiting and more waiting nothing but patients was brought upon her. Aya couldn't wait no longer she wanted to be by her brother. "Do you think it's safe to go out now?" Aya asked the two hoping it was finally time to go to the pharmacy.
-
Marlee was on the counter lying down again waiting for the time for them to leave. She was used to waiting in the store and kept an eye out the window from time to time seeing of any were there or not. She lea ed up and hopes to the floor as she heard aya ask a question.she walked over and peeked through the window and looked around both ways. "Well...I don't see any out here as far as I can see at the moment." she said looking back to Aya and Jason.
-
"I'm fine going to the pharmacy if everyone's up for it" Jason said checking his pistol's ammo. Aya nodded and stood as she walked towards the door. She closed her eyes for a moment and let out a small sigh. Please, let them be ok Aya thought as the worried person she is. Jason looked at the two girls and nodded. "I'm ready are you guys?" Jason asked as he softly began messing with his hair. Aya nodded shifting her backpack. She grabbed a grip to her knife, smiling faintly.
-
Kaylee walked over behind the counter and grabbed a bag of hers in which she kept everything she really needed and supplies. After getting it she walked to the door and smiled "im ready now." she said calmly. She was ready to get out and try to find safety at the farm as fast as possible because it seemed to be getting worse and worse at times around where she was in the town a d leaving out might help with that.
