Shade looked away before closing his eyes.

Avery turned Shade's face and looked at him, "What's wrong?" she asked.

"I don't know.....that never happened to me before..." Shade said as he shook his head.

"It's okay....It wasn't your fault!" she said and hugged him.

Shade hugged back.

"If you want, You can go home and I'll go see if Xander got in or not." Avery said.

Shade shook his head"nah"

Avery kissed him gently. "Let's go!" she said.

Shade kissed back before nodding.

Avery broke the kiss and held his hand, walking towards town.

Shade followed.

Avery let go of his hand before skipping.

Shade chuckled.

Avery smiled and stopped. Her eyes glowed yellow as she smiled.
