Shade sniffed the air as he caught the wolf's scent.he the growled lowly.

Xander hid behind Shade, His eyes turning red. Avery walked forward before getting tackled by a little girl.

Shade shifted into his werewolf form as he roared.he then bared his fangs.

Avery got up. She was about Xander's age. She looked at the little girl than Shade.

Shade tilted his head as he let out a confused noise"What is a girl doing out here?"

Avery grunted. "Who are you?" she asked. "My name is Nicole." she said shyly.

Shade teleported home and shifted to normal before putting some clothes.he then teleported back to Avery

"I'm s-sorry. I ran away from home." Nicole said. She looked up at Avery. "Don't worry." Avery said.

Shade closed his eyes as he thought.

"Why don't you go home?" Avery said to Nicole. She looked at Shade and walked towards him.

Shade opened his eyes as he looked down at the girl.

Nicole looked at Avery. "Is this your brother?" she asked. Avery started laughing.

Shade chuckled and shook his head.

"Oh. Uncle? Cousin? Boyfriend? Friend?" Nicole asked and looked at Shade and Avery. Avery laughed again.

"I'm her boyfriend" Shade said as he chuckled.
