Pierce shoved the dog again, who growled, but backed off, slinking away. Pierce knelt down beside the smaller ferret, looking concerned. "Are you alright?" -

Simon nodded his head quickly and shivered,even though he was still somewhat injured.He pulled himself up,wobbling on his shaking legs. -

Pierce immediately took his hands and helped him up, frowning. "You're hurt. You should come back with me, I can help you." he said softly, gently looping an arm around his waist so he wouldn't fall. "What's your name?" -

Simon whimpered in pain as Peirce helped him up,his knees weak.He slanted over on Peirce and grabbed the side of his shirt for extra grip."I-I.......I am Simon."He stammered. -

Pierce bit his lip and tightened his grip on Simon. He slipped an arm under him and lifted him up in his arms. "You're safe now, it's okay," he murmured, starting to walk back towards his apartment building. -
Simon lowered his ears and stick his ears between his legs,hugging it.He buried his face into Peirce's chest,and the bobing of Peirce's walking soothed and relaxed him.He struggled to stay awake.
