"I don't understand. I'm just nothing compaired to Queen Roa." she said.

"Cal, do you trust me?"

"Of course I trust you Riley." Calanthe said as she looked at him.

He took her hand. "Close your eyes. And clear you mind of everything. And think of pure light. And heat."

Calanthe closed her eyes as she cleared her mind out. She thought of light and heat.

A small flame started in the air above her. "Open your eyes" he whispered.

Calanthe opened her eyes as she saw a fire above her. She gasped. "Did you do that?" she asked.

Riley smiled "No, you did that"

She watched as the flame disappeared in mid-air. "I think its time to teach me how to use my powers." she said.

"I agree" he said as he stood up and held a hand out to her

She smiled and got up. She took Riley's hand and smiled.

"Okay first thing's first. Teleporting. Unfortanantly this will only work when your calm so it can't really get you out of danger unless you're in control. In reality, it's not teleportation. It's you, literally becoming the wind and blowing where you need to."

"Okay." Calanthe said trying to make herself calm. She breathed in and out to get her blood flowing and she emptied her mind to calm herself from the excitement.

"Good, now thik of where you want to go. Tell the wind withyour mind" he whispered, trying not to disturb her consentration

She thought about going to her room in the palace. "I want to go to the palace." She thought.
