(you come up with the accident >:3)
"I will. I'll be bringing my sword along, and I'll be sure to watch out for myself. But you have to remember, this is my job. I need to protect my people. They should be coming before my wants," Yasuhiro touched his eyepatch, sighing. "If I had it my way, I'd tell the villages I'd rather like to avoid the situation. That wouldn't be too considerate, though, would it? Besides, I like helping people. This is just another job." He smiled at Lance, looking at the spot Lyra had been in. He wanted to go alone, yes, but he knew he'd miss the castle life. Luckily, he knew the fishing village area well, and he hoped they wouldn't mind his sudden visit. "Tell Lyra to go to the stable when she's finished, please. And then you yourself should go to the stable and ready a horse for me if you're okay with that," it was an order. "I'll meet you there." With that, Yasu turned and went to his room to pack. -
Lance sighed, nodding, and walking off to do just that. Telling the news to Lyra, then he went to the stables and saddled up a horse. Because orders.
Lyra came a little bit later, with the supplies he's asked for.
-
"Gisei! Hi!" A villager called, as the teen raced across the roofs, heading toward the village center.
"Hey, Gen." Gisei waved, never missing a beat. He greeted other villages in his daily routine, of returning from helping with the morning haul. He hated the smell of fish, but he loved these people. Whatever they asked of him, he'd do it. He slid down off a building, landing with a flip beside a young woman.
"Oh! Gisei I-" The woman started, only to pause midsentence when Gisei sniffed the air.
"Do you smell that?" He asked, glancing around.
"W-what?!" She asked, fearing the worst.
"Smells like free apples." He grinned, stealing an apple from her basket and running.
"Okami!" The woman yelled, but only playfully. -
[ummmm what if it was a fishing accident? Like he got a hook in his eye? He could be afraid of the hooks because of it.]

(I can see it now. :D
"GET THAT FISHING POLE AWAY FROM ME"
*fishing poles everywhere*
"Which one? D:")
It didn't take long for Yasuhiro to pack clothing and necessities in only two bags. It also didn't take long for him to retrieve money, and he was quite sure he had more than enough for the trip. After redressing himself for a cold night, he headed for the stables, his eye gleaming. He had never gone on a trip this far from the castle alone, and he was more than excited to have the power to do it. When he reached the stables, he smiled at the two of them, looking to the horse. "Hmm.. Do you think I should take the carriage instead of just a horse?" He asked, thinking about all of the baggage he had to bring along. -
"It's your choice, sir. If you took a carriage, you might need someone else to go along with you." Lyra shrugged.
Lance patted the horse gently, praying to the gods to keep their king safe.

(the poor babe is going to a fishing place like omf
soon as the person shows up we can time skip so they made the journey and got there :'D)
Yasuhiro pondered the idea for a moment before deciding. "I want the carriage. Who's the one who knows how to ride it again? Can you tell them to quickly pack and come along with me?" Though it would ruin his chance to go alone, he'd have someone who knew how to drive the thing, and maybe the other guards wouldn't worry so much about him with the extra person going on the trip. -
[to be fair most the fishing is done farther out at sea, so most fishing poles will be laying against walls or in empty boats. He's more likely to see a ton of nets]
"Yes, sir." Lance nodded, running off to get that person. Probably some man who I don't really have to name because he's so minor a character no one cares.
Anyway, Lyra and a stablehand worked on hooking up the horses to the carriage, then when said minor character arrived, they helped pack the supplies into the carriage. -
(true)
And then things happened and off they were to the village until they finally got there. Yasuhiro sighed happily as soon as the village homes came into view. He directed the driver to an Inn that had space for the carriage. As soon as it stopped moving, the young king got out of the carriage and rushed into the Inn to find one the owner. He needed to meet the White Demon straight away, and though Yasu wasn't sure that the person would know, he had to try. "Excuse me, where can I find the demon that surrounding villages call the White Demon?" -
The innkeeper frowned at that question. "Around here, he's not the 'White Demon'. I don't know quite where you're from, but you'd do best not to refer to Gisei as such in these parts."
A young woman rushed in about that time, smiling happily, skipping with her steps and some flowers braided in her hair.
"Father, father! Guess what?" She grinned, pulling out a fresh peach out of the pocket of her dress.
"Look what Okami found me! I-Oh! Excuse me." She said, noticing the guest. She quickly slipped the peach onto the table, and ran into a back room, calling over her shoulder "I'll tell you after your done with business, father!"
The man watched his daughter vanished, then turned to his guest, sighing.
"I didn't mean to come off as rude. But Gisei is family in this village. He's no demon. " -
Yasu blinked, then looked ashamed, dipping his head down in an apology. "I'm sorry. You see, I knew that Gisei was important to you. I didn't know that was his name, though. All of the letters said he was just a demon.." The king had dipped into his own thoughts, though he pushed them aside. "My apologies. I'm Yasuhiro Exeter," he held out his hand. "I'm here to meet Gisei and learn about this place. People have told stories about him being violent, but I don't think I want to believe it. Judging by the look on your daughter's face.. He seems to be helpful. Nice, too, to get her some food like that."
-
The innkeeper was a bit stunned to hear his tune change so quickly, but accepted it, and shook his hand politely.
"I see. So, with all that..you work for the crown? No, wait, Exeter...Oh, jeez. You are the crown." He laughed, smiling.
"So, I guess you must be the boy that used to live here a few years ago." He said, then nodded. "Yes, Gisei is very important to us. Most the kids call him Okami, or big brother. Why the other villages refer to him as a demon..." He shook his head.
"Gisei has his odd habits, and he is a bit peculiar. But, like you saw with the peach, he's always looking for a way to help out around here." -

Yasu smiled back as the inn owner figured out who he was aloud. He dropped his hand to his sword hilt, gripping the cool handle for comfort. "Yes, I am the crown, but please don't let that bring judgement. I'm human, as everyone else is, and I don't expect higher treatment over a title," his grip tightened. "Yes, I am. Though, I don't quite remember my way around here anymore. It has been a while."
He fell silent as the man spoke about Gisei. Unlike the other villages' description that described a horrible demon that destroyed things, this version was rather nice sounding. Yasuhiro tilted his head a bit as he weighed both sides. So many people had called this 'Gisei' a monster, so why was he different here? He supposed that was his purpose of being here in the first place.
"He sounds like a great person.. As I asked before, would you happen to know where I can find him? I'd also like to know how much it would cost for.. About a week, if that's possible." -
"Of course.." The Innkeep nodded, then opened the back door. "Alice!" He called, and soon the girl from earlier appeared, meekly walking in.
"Yes sir?" She asked, startled and a bit afraid she might be in trouble.
"Can you tell this nice young man where Gisei is at the moment?" He asked, smiling to reassure her as he laid a hand gently on her shoulder.
"Okami was headed for the beach, last I saw him. He and a few others were going swimming." Alice said, shyly looking down at the desk as she spoke of the boy.
"I see. Thank you. " The in keep said, dismissing the girl, who quickly fled back to the living quarters, blushing. -
Yasu listened intently, smiling at how shy the small girl was. "Tell her that she has my thanks as well, please," the king said as she rushed out of the room. "Now, let's talk business before I go meet this Gisei.. Do you happen to have a room with two beds? I have a partner who came to take me here, and I'd rather he stay with me than anywhere else. If this isn't possible, though, it's alright."
