C1 is the reincarnation on an ancient princess. When she was young, she was taken from her simple fishing village home and raised in the castle by the royal family. Soon after, though, the family contracted a strange illness and all died, leaving the 12 year old princess to rule [Insert kingdom name here].
C2 is the reincarnation of an ancient warrior, who fought the demon Orochi. But the problem is, he's cursed. At night he is a normal human, living in the fishing village of C1's birth. But by night, he becomes an odd dog like creature, with thick, shaggy white fur, golden yellow eyes, and an odd charm from the temple in the mountains around his neck. When in this dog form, he has a hard time remembering who he was, and can becomes violent. Because of his, neighboring villages have made a plea to the princess for the removal or extermination of the 'White Demon'.
But the fishing village, [Insert village name here], refuses to let anyone touch him. He has kept them safe from demons for years. He isn't a threat, they say.
C1 decides the only way she can know for sure if he is dangerous is to visit him and the village herself, much to the horror of her guards and councilors.

Important information: Gisei prefers to fight than to fish, though normally he hasn't much to fight, so most days he goes off into the forest to train. Generally he's followed by children in the village, hoping to learn what they can from him.
Family: Deceased, the story is that they died on an outing, but it was a long time ago. He was raised like the other orphans in the village, taken care of by all the men and women. This causes him to have a strong loyalty toward these people. He'd give his life for all of them. -

Important information: Yasuhiro is not one who sheds blood for no reason. He prefers to thoroughly examine a situation and find both sides of the story before he takes charge. Though he doesn't always use logic, he does his best to get the full picture before putting judgement down. However, he has let his emotions get in the way before, and there's no telling if he might do it again.
Family: He has a younger sister and his two parents living at the fishing area, though he's long since forgotten them after becoming a part of the royal family. He doesn't have anyone in the castle he'd call his true family, but he acts like those who protect him are. -

Yasuhiro rubbed his forehead as he set yet another complaint letter down on his desk. A stack of them had been piled up on the floor, complaints from various villages through the kingdom. Not surprisingly, they all were about the same topic: the 'White Demon'. The prince- no, king- rose from the chair and moved towards the door. He was tired of hearing the same topic daily. There was only so much he could believe from the villages, and he wasn't sure if they were right about the demon being evil or if it was really just a nice little thing. Heck, he didn't even know if the thing was a demon. Many different myths and lore could cover what the White Demon was. Looking to one of the guards, Yasu muttered, "I'm going out to that village. I need to get to the bottom of this as quickly as possible. -

One of the guards, a young man named Lance, stared at his lord in shock.
"S-sir! Don't you think that's a bit hasty? Why not send out some soldier to assess the situation, instead." The other, an woman of about thirty said, frowning.

"Help!" A voice screeched. The little girl teetered on the edge of the pier, staring at the large cat creature stalking her. She whimpered, taking another step back, almost plummeting into the waves below.
At the cry of help, a streak of white shot out of the forest. Gisei appeared, slamming his fist into the cat, sending it flying over the kid's head into the ocean.
The little girl quickly recovered, and squealed, running over and hugging Gisei.
"Thank you big brother!" She smiled, hugging tightly.
"No problem, Haku. Just, be more careful, okay?" Gisei sighed, ruffling her hair. -

"Hasty? No, not really. I've been waiting for days to not do anything. These letters are starting to get to me. I don't know which side to trust. There's the possibility that nothing is wrong with this demon, but then there's the possibility that the other villages are right and we need to take the beast down. I personally want to find out.. Myself," he added warily, eyeing the woman. "I'm setting out today. Soon, actually. As soon as I pack some clothing. Can one of you go down to the kitchen and pack food that will last until I can get to the village for me? I'd appreciate it." -

Lance sighed. He was a loyal knight, and he didn't argue much. But he couldn't see how the young Lord was thinking this through.
"Of course, sir. If you are certain." The woman, Lyra, nodded, walking off to follow orders.
Lance stared after her, stunned. Great. So they really were going to let him run off to a silly fishing village to meet a demon.
"Be wary, sir. I've heard many stories from my hometown about this beast. My sister mentioned seeing it once, seeing it wrestling with a demon twice its size in the forest. It's dangerous." Lance said, worriedly.
