The red curtain was lifted. Many kids looked onto the headmaster. He was tall, wearing a gray uniform signifying that he once was, or is, part of the Sparrow Cross Class. It would make sense, afterall, Roison thought, a Headmaster, being part of the Sparrow Class. Sparrow Class and her own class, Jackal Class, were the scholars of the school, afterall. The headmaster had black hair styled upwards and he was quite strong from what she could see. Roison couldn't help but think he looked a little young to be a Headmaster, he looked in his twenties. She raised an eyebrow. "Now," His voice was smooth and calm. "Welcome to King Cross College here in London. I understand many of you are first years, many are not. However, many are from different countries. I am glad all of you decided to take the effort to enroll this year, despite the distance. Know that you are bettering your future and ensuring your success by enrolling here. I hope you will come back for the years to come, as well."
Ashby was watching the Headmaster talk. He was a smart man, it seemed. He also seemed wise, even though he looked so young. He wondered to himself if Headmaster had ever practiced magic, or if he had a spell cast upon him to ensure his youth. He remembered the myth of the Fountain of Youth. He couldn't help but think Headmaster Xzander had found it. "Here at King Cross Academy, we support only the best scholars, athletes, and yes, magical creatures. This is a secret to the outside world, so you will be cast a hex on to make sure none of you tell. This hex is hard and painstaking to break, so I suggest you don't even try. You will have fun here, as long as you dedicate to our values and keep our secret that makes us so unique." -
Ann silently gawked at the Headmaster's words. Magical creatures? How is that possible? How is magic in general possible? She shook her head, clearing her thoughts.
-
Lynnete smirked when he said mythical creatures she knew this is would be fun definetly well she already knew a kitsune , a vampire and herself so she was set
TSUKIKO beside her was nodding happily
( sorry it's short but I'm going to make one more final character is that alowed ) -
Chaos let out a snort of laughter at the human students 'oh this is going to be fun' he thought with a creepy grin
-
Yeah, its allowed)
Roison was not fazed by the professor's words on "magical creatures." Being one highly into mythology, and growing up with superstitious parents, this didn't surprise her at all. She respected King Cross Academy for being brave enough to do so. If King Cross failed, she knew, that the world would outbreak. But for King Cross to establish a bridge between the magical and non-magical, it would surely slowly better the world. Especially with highly-trustable rich, prominent families. Rich kids were born keeping secrets and given knowledge. Roison was always given knowledge, as a child. Her parents always told her a lot, especially about their family and their fortune. They were honest, telling her that the fortune would be hers one day. First, when she turned eighteen, she was given a fraction of the fortune. About fifty percent. When one parent died, she was given twenty five. And when the other died, the other twenty five became hers. Roison, unlike many rich kids with a future, was not ambitious to get the money. She'd rather have her family with her, and keep the fifty percent she was given. The fifty percent alone had her set for life with a large family, house, mansion, food and all the animals she needed, anyways.
Asbhy also chuckled at the human's remarks to them being creatures of magic. He scanned the large room, looking for any attractive females...But his attention was sent back to the professor who said, "The Black and White class are magic. They were not mentioned to be magical before you enrolled because we couldn't afford the world to know our secret. Anyways, we will call you each up by name, give you the pin of your class, which you may wear on your uniform, then give you your schedule and a map. Happy first day." And so people were called, one by one. Ashby noticed that the calling didn't follow any order, as if it was random. This struck him as odd, but his existence himself was odd. So he ignored it. -
Ann slunk into her chair and sighed. "Oh, this is gonna be great.." She said, barely over a whisper. As he was calling up names, Ann zoned out, waiting for her named to be called.
-
Roison heard her name being called and walked up to the stairs to the stand. The Headmaster gave her a pin with a Jackal on it, then her schedule and a map. "Thank you, Headmaster." She said, in her thick accent. She did a little curtsy, then skipped down the stairs back into her seat. No one had left yet, so she simply assumed she was supposed to stay in the auditorium for now. She put the pin on her dress, while looking down into her lap. Roison smiled a little to herself, happy that the first day had started.
Ashby wasn't paying too much attention to anyone. He was listening for his name, barely. That was just about as much attention that he was giving out. He stroked his black hair back into place, letting his stormy eyes fix onto the marble floor. It was a pretty floor, easy on the eye. It put any other school floors to shame. Asbhy silently decided that this college would bring good things to him, as everything was planned and intricately dealt with, right down to the floors and chairs. -
Chaos heard his name get called and got up to walk to the stage. He took the pin and put it on before taking his schedule and the map. "Thank you sir" he said, looking up at tge headmaster before jumping off the stage
-
Ann shortly heard her name be called, and she stood up. Quickly walking onto the stage, she took the pin and gave a quick, "Thank you, sir," before practically gliding off the stage. Although Ann tried to suppress the sudden spout of nervousness, she felt her face get red. Having not much to do, she put on the pin on her collar, pricking her finger a few times in the process.
-
Saga walked into the room and just leaned against the wall near the back after a few moments her name was called, she was startled for a moment and then went and grabbed the pin she smiled curtly, "Thank you." She mumbled as she walked off stage, the phone call from her brother set her off and she was still upset. Saga put the pin on her shirt and went back to her spot on the wall. She hummed quietly as she zoned out from what was going.
T.J. was listening as the headmaster spoke but not really paying attention she was more studying people. When her name was called she flinched slightly and then took her feet off her bag and walked up calmly. It was obvious to tell who was in what class from their uniform but her not so much which caused her to smirk to herself. She excepted the pin and smiled oh so innocently, "Thank you." Once she turned her face fell back to normal she smirked towards the direction of the black and white class not for any reason she just felt like it. Once she sat back down she slid the papers into the side of the backpack and sat back propping her feet on her bag again and put her pin in her shirt. -
Rei watched people walk to the front to receive their pin, schedule, and map. She noticed that most if not all of them were saying thank you. That's not a phrase that she heard or used very often. She was rarely in situations where she would hear it or say it. Especially in the few years in her life when she was forced to steal food and items from people for certain reasons. The more common thing that she heard in those years was people screaming not-so-nice words at her, and the more common thing for her to say was she would repay them later.
Rei was suddenly brought back to reality when she heard her name called. Her ears and tail flinched as she quickly grasped reality and stood up. Other Spirit Foxes might hide their ears and tail(s), but she didn't care very much if people knew. Walking to the front, she accepted the pin, schedule, and map. "Um... Thank you," she said, sounding slightly awkward. She was hoping that she was saying it in the right tone of voice. She turned and went back to her seat. After sitting down, she looked down at her outfit. Was she supposed to put the pin on her haori, or the dress? After a few moments of deliberation, she decided that she would put it on the dress, since it was the actual uniform. -
Ann sat back, legs crossed. Not moving her head, she glanced around, getting a general feel of the academy. Unconsciously, she was tapping her fingers on her leg.
