Antonio clicked his tongue, letting the kitten paw at his nose. "You little cutie," he said in a soft sing song voice, puckering his lips.
-
"Aw, gratzie (totally spelled that wrong) Antonio," Lovino drawled false-sweetly from across the table. Tomato mewed, placing a paw on his nose and leaving it there, watching him playfully.
-
Antonio smiled, "You too, Lovino, don't worry. You're just as cute as Tomato." He smiled at the kitten, walking towards the table.
-
Lovino stuck his tongue out again. "I know, jerk, I don't need your flattery." he scoffed. "Second favorite to a kitten, ouch." Tomato purred, seemingly enjoying his owner's jealousy.
-
Antonio carefully sat down, as he was still trying to hold the kitten. "Okay, well, don't tell Tomato, but maybe you're cuter, Lovi. Just a little bit."
-
Lovino rolled his eyes, but he was smiling. "Yeah, yeah, whatever. Don't get cat hair on my table." Tomato licked Antonio's hand, still purring loudly. Lovino raised an eyebrow at the kitten, trying to pretend he wasn't a little bit envious.
-
Antonio was glad that Tomato didn't seem to mind not being as cute as Lovino. The Spaniard kissed the kitten's paw, then set him down in his lap so he could eat.
-
Tomato curled up in Antonio's lap, closing his eyes. Lovino started to eat. He couldn't really be upset about all the attention his pet was getting, recalling how Antonio had talked about missing his own dog. "What about the ties, then?" he asked after a moment. "You still want to match?"
-
Antonio went to eating with one hand, petting Tomato with his other. "Mhm!" He chirped, nodding through his mouthful of food. "I've got a few doubles at my apartment. I tend to lose or break my ties often, so I like to buy two whenever I get one."
-
Lovino raised an eyebrow. "How do you break...oh, never mind. That's fine." He went back to eating. "So," he asked around bites, suddenly sounding a little shy. "We can still, um, say that we're dating?" he asked.
-
Antonio was glad that Lovino didn't really question the breaking ties to much- again, Francis had been quite interesting. He perked up at the next question, nodding. "Mhm! Absolutely."
-
Lovino nodded, trying not to let on how happy that made him. "Okay, we can go whenever you're done taking your time, princess." he stood up with a tiny smile, cleaning his dishes and putting them away. He prided himself in still being able to do things for himself, like cooking and cleaning. He hated the stereotype that all famous people were babied.
-
"I'm not a princess," Antonio defended himself, but hurried a little more. When he was finished, he held Tomato to his chest with one arm, stood up, and with his other hand carried the plate to the sink.
-
"Oh, of course not," Lovino agreed sarcastically. "How long does it take to do your hair again?" He chuckled, bending down to fill two bowls with food for Wesley and Tomato, who'd crawled onto Antonio's shoulder.
-
Antonio tried to keep Tomato safe, having a hand hovering near in case the kitten slipped, though her claws digging into Antonio's skin seemed to keep her steady. "But it's curly, there's hardly anything I can do about it besides take forever. If you had curly hair you would understand!"
