wow just noticed that XD)
A drop of tomato juice hit the floor and Tomato wriggled free from Antonio's arms to jump down and lick it up. "Cannibal," Lovino muttered. "Have you eaten yet? I've got plenty of little things, but I could cook something if you still haven't eaten dinner." -
Antonio chuckled at Lovino's comment about the cat, watching Tomato lick up the tomato. "Hm, I could really just go for something small. I'm still a bit full from lunch."
-
Lovino thought for a moment, before reaching up to pull something from one of the higher cabinets. It was a box of chocolates. "Some fan," he explained the candy's origins, blushing. "We can take them on the balcony, I've got wine if you want."
-
"Sure," Antonio agreed, smiling. He liked the idea, it sounded kind of cheesy like a movie, but still pretty nice and romantic.
-
Lovino bit his lip, hoping Antonio didn't think he was being too cheesy. He reached to get the wine, cursing when he had to stand on his toes to grab the bottle. "This way," he said, heading up to the balcony.
-
Antonio held in a giggle when Lovino had to stand on his toes, and nodded, following him. He looked around as they walked, trying to get a feel for Lovino's house.
-
Lovino was holding the bottle of wine in the crook of his arm, the wine in his hand, and a pair of wine glasses balanced in his other hand. He nudged the glass door open with his hip and sighed happily. He loved the balcony, and the sun was just starting to set, painting the sky various oranges.
-
Antonio held the door open for him after he'd nudged it with his hip, looking at the sky. "Isn't it beautiful, Lovi?" He asked, fonding over all of the colors. "It's such a perfect night."
-
Lovino was grateful for Antonio holding the door, slipping out onto the balcony. There was already a little table and chairs set up, so he set the things down and took a moment to watch the sky. "It's my favorite part of this house," he murmured softly.
-
Antonio stepped out as well, shutting the door behind them. "It's such a good place to have it, too. On the sunset side. My apartment has a lot of windows, but I wish I had an outdoor space."
-
Lovino smirked and held up a glass. "My door's always open." He set it down and sat down, waiting for Antonio to do the same. "Unless you cheat on me." he added firmly, leaning back into the chair with a little huff.
-
Antonio sat down in the other chair, leaning back, eyes focused on the setting sun. "Of course I wouldn't," Antonio, said, firmly. "Why would I?"
-
Lovino clamped his mouth shut before he could actually answer that. Antonio definitely wouldn't want to stay once he realized Lovino didn't even like himself, so he wanted to keep that from happening as long as possible. He busied himself pouring the wine, pretending he hadn't heard the question.
-
Antonio looked over, watching Lovino pour the wine. He took his glass when it was filled, taking a sip and staring back at the sky.
-
Antonio didn't break the silence, which made Lovino nervous. Had he done something wrong? Was Antonio bored already? But he was the one who'd asked to come over... He shifted and took a sip of his own wine, watching the way the sun turned Antonio's eyes even greener, almost gold.
