Lovino stammered another apology, feeling frightened and stupid and ashamed. He hated seeing Antonio act like that, and he knew it was idiotic to get so worked up, but he didn't want to get hurt. The director glared for another moment, before his expression changed to one more thoughtful. "Hmm...actually, this might work. Santiago could hit him again, he could rush off, that could lead right to the club scene..." He nodded firmly. "Five minute break, people! I've got to go change that..."

oops, double post, sorry!)
-
It's okay~))
Antonio shook his head at Lovino's apology, but turned around to the director again. "No, I won't hit him," he stated, firmly. There was no way they would be able to make him do it. It was hard enough when Lovino seemed only slightly hesitant about it, but now he seemed terrified. -
The director turned and crossed his arms. "Excuse me? You just have to hit him once, he'll get over it. Like this," he raised his hand and Lovino's blood turned to ice. He stumbled back, watching the director lower his hand with a laugh. "Just kidding. But you will hit him, unless you want to be off this movie."
-
Antonio's blood boiled when the director raised his hand, and as soon as he was done talking, the Spaniard took a fistful of the man's shirt. "I will not be hitting him, but if you raise a hand against him again, I will gladly hit you. Go ahead, kick me off of the movie, and wait until the tabloids hear why. And Ellen. And ever big movie company to ever sponser you."
-
The director, along with everyone in the room, fell dead silent for a few long seconds. The director cleared his throat, nodded at Antonio, and spoke. "...Fine. But no more slip ups. You put your lines before your feelings, got it?" He glared pointedly at Lovino, who nodded quickly, looking shaken. The man cleared his throat again and patted Antonio's fist. "We're done here. Done. We'll film more tomorrow, but for the rest of today, get your asses off my set."
-
Antonio took his fist away from the director's shirt, relieved that he had at least made his point clear. He cleared his throat, and nodded at the instruction to leave. "Gladly," he grumbled, walking off set towards the dressing rooms to get back into his own clothes.
-
Lovino managed to keep himself composed, but as soon as the director and camera crew left the set, his shaky legs collapsed. He hugged his arms around himself, trying to forget the cruel way Antonio had stared at him.
-
After Antonio got dressed, he walked back out. As he passed the set, on his way to leave, he happened to glance back. "... Lovino?" He asked, rushing over, kneeling in front of him. "Lovino, what's wrong? Is it my fault? I'm so sorry, so so sorry, please.."
-
Lovino shook his head, blinking back tears. "I-I'm so sorry, I th-thought you were going to- to h-hit me again," he stammered, closing his eyes. "It was m-my fault,"
-
Antonio was quick to dismiss it as being his fault. "Lovino, you didn't do anything wrong. It's not your fault you were scared, anybody would be scared when someone's yelling at them," he said, speaking slowly and gently.
-
Lovino's cheeks burned with shame as he realized he was visibly trembling. His legs still felt weak. Deciding that he had no dignity left to lose, he looked up at Antonio with tears in his eyes. "Can y-you...help me up?" God, he was an idiot. Scared so much he couldn't stand.
-
Antonio regarded the frightened Italian very gently, nodding. "Of course, Lovi," he hummed, taking his hands to help his stand up slowly.
-
Lovino stood shakily, looking down. "f---, I-I'm sorry Antonio, you didn't have to stop, you could've just hit me again..." he mumbled, even though the idea terrified him. Antonio had almost gotten kicked off the movie standing up for him.
