I think we have the plot already down.
Which character do you want to be? I have one I prefer but your choice. -
Well, in the last one, you were the older boy.
-
That's the abusive one, correct?
And I'm guessing we're starting while they're in the relationship? -
Yeah.
Mhm.
brb tho -
Okay. I'll make my character.

Name-Lucifer Rae Denton
Age-22
Lucifer graduated high school when he was 17. He was a very bright child, but his parents didn't want to take care of him any longer, so they shipped him off to the Army. In his two years there, his paperwork got mixed up with another man's, and he was sent to an intense war zone. He lasted seven months, after which he came back with clinical levels of PTSD. He had been wanting to teach school ever since sixth grade, so now he had the opportunity to do it. He came from a family that had to work hard for everything they had, so he despises people who brag on themselves and their stuff. He loves his boyfriend, but sometimes the little one irritates him..
His biography is brought to you by Tenny. -
Using Cadence still.
Name: Cadence Matthews
Age: 18
Appearance:
Cadence is well aware of the fact that he's a little young for Lucifer- His parents, who were homophobic jerks, made that very clear when they kicked him out after he announced his relationship. To be completely honest, Cadence was happy with his freedom. It meant more of Lucifer, who, of course, took him under his wing.
Cadence had known then about his problem, but had assumed that it would get better over time. It didn't, it got worse, but he refused to leave, wanting to keep trying. Cadence himself is a total sweetheart. He's in drama club, and currently acting in and directing the next play. He struggles with his grades, but does well enough, and is trying to get into a college close to home, but he'll take what he can get. -
I'll start.
It was late October, around four o'clock. Lucifer was sitting on a stool in the living room in front of an easel, painting a black rose while soft classical music played from the stereo speakers. He had finished all of his classes that day and was waiting for his boyfriend to come home. Lucifer normally painted and drank green tea before his lover came home as he was doing that afternoon to keep himself calm. He hummed silently to the music as he continued the painting. He had left the windows open and cold fall air flowed in every now and then. Lucifer was quite happy with his lifestyle, living in his two story family home with Cadence. -
Cadence knew he could have walked home. It was nice outside, and he didn't live far from school, but when his right hand man, Thomas offered him a ride, he snatched it up. Thomas had a nice car, with a comfy interior, and smooth body. The only down side to getting a ride was something Cadence figured out as Thomas speed away from the curb after dropping him off. His car made noise, and a lot of it, too. Sighing, Cadence slipped into the house, shutting the door behind him softly. He dropped his bags at on the kitchen table, grabbing the mail that Lucifer had left there, sorting through it. Right there, in the middle, was a letter from one of the colleges he had applied for. Cadence swallowed hard, slipping into the living room. "Hey, baby," He hummed, sinking into the couch, "Wanna open this with me?"
-
Lucifer gritted his teeth at the loud noise, setting his paintbrush down and taking a long sip from his tea. Lucifer gave his boyfriend a grim smile, slowly standing up. "Hey, kitten," Lucifer said as he moved towards the couch and sat down beside his lover, wrapping his arm around Cadence's waist loosely. "Sure thing," He replied, eyeing the piece of mail. He really wanted Cadence to get accepted into college, any college. It didn't really matter to Lucifer as long as his boyfriend was happy.
-
This was the third letter Cadence had gotten this year. The other two hadn't been acceptance letters, and the little burst of anxiety at the thought that this one wasn't either made the boy's hands tremble. He tore the envelope open, and mouthed the words.
Dear Mr Matthews,
We regret to inform you..
Cadence sat the paper down, inhaling. "I've worked so hard, though," He mumbled, turning to hide his face in Lucifer's shirt. He hadn't ever focused on his grades very much, and now it was hurting him. -
Lucifer had been holding his breath the whole time Cadence was opening the letter, and exhaled when he saw the first few words. Lucifer had gotten his hopes up for nothing once again. He sighed, stroking his boyfriend's hair gently. "I know, I know.." He sighed, biting down on his bottom lip. "Some college will accept you soon enough, I know it.." Even though Lucifer said he knew, he really didn't.
-
"..No. That was the last one I applied to, Lucifer." The boy stood up, lacing his fingers together behind his head. "This bites. It really does. God, I'm so stupid..." Cadence slipped into the kitchen, digging through the cabinets. A few minutes later, he returned with a bottle of wine and two glasses, setting them down. He bit his lip, knowing that Lucifer preferred him to leave the alcohol alone. "I know. It's yours, not mine, but can I pleaaaase have some? Just for tonight?"
-
Lucifer thought about that for a few moments. He sighed, laying his head back and closing his eyes. He reopened them when he heard the bottle of wine and the glasses being set down on the table. He sat up, narrowing his eyes at his boyfriend. "No, Cadence. You are not allowed to have alcohol in this house, you know that."
-
"Why not?" Cadence whined, picking up the bottle to look at it. Without meeting Lucifer's eyes, he popped the top off, and poured some into the glasses. "Just this once, Luci. It's been a really long day."
