someone broke in with a knife, i grabbed my .45 and went to shoot, but before i could, he moved the barrel and and the bullet hit your mother in the chest, i eventually got the knife, after getting slahed over the eye (hence my scar) and killed him. I applied 1st aid to her. she died before the EMTs could get to the house. -
"My dad, he didn't kill my mom." I said with excitement, but then felt guilty for saying those awful things. I uncovered my face to reveal the burn mark on the right side of my face.

I quickly hid it, "M-my dad, pushed my face onto a ignited stove." I said stuttering.

" Come here. Let me see it." Travis said. He grabbed a bottle of water from beside him.

"It hurts really bad." I said to Travis, "But, I'm used to it." I said the other part in a lower tone.
