Rosario didn't catch the slip, but just laughed, grinning. "Ew. Really, ew. He's like, two times our age. Ew. That. Is. Gross." He grinned, but kept his eyes on the road, humming along to a song playing in his head.
(ew my dad and my grandfather are talking about bills gross) -
"So? Some guys like 'em young." He laughed, grinning at Rosario. "It could be a lot worse. Trust me." He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, thinking how bad it could actually be. "Yeah. A lot worse."
-
"I'm not into older guys, even if they have stacks of money laying around." He frowned, and fell silent at the later suggestion, changing the topic. "Um.. My classes end at four. And then I have two hours before work, so.. Would you like to grab something to eat?"
-
Dantello thought for a quick minute before nodding. "Yeah, sure." He gave Rosario a small smile before reaching into the backseat. He unzipped his duffel bag and took out his phone.
-
"I need to give you my number, then," He said as the man took his cell phone out. Without asking, he took it, adding himself to the contacts. He took a picture of himself making a silly face, and set it as his picture before giving it back to Dantello. "It's the one that says Sugar Daddy, with all the hearts around it," He grinned.
-
He watched as the other added himself to his contacts, laughing when he made a funny face and took a picture. "Why would you-" He stopped himself from finishing the question. "Never mind. I don't wanna know."
-
"See you later," He said, as the had already parked. He got out, locked the car, and took of towards the building that he needed to be in five minutes ago.
-
Dantello got out of the car and walked to the large glass building his classes were in. When he finally arrived to class, almost everyone was already there. He gave a nod to the teacher and quickly sat down.
-
After being lightly scolded for being late, Rosario took his seat. This class, which centered around writing, was possibly his favorite.
-
Dantello didn't pay much attention to what the teacher was saying. He spent the whole time taking pictures of himself on his phone and twirling a pen around his finger.
-
About fifteen minutes into class, Rosario took out his phone, setting it on his knee. Turning it on, he texted the number he had gotten from Dantello, but hadn't yet saved to his own contacts.
Hello. -
Dantello felt his phone vibrate in his hand, getting a text message. He smiled to himself when the name that came up was Sugar Daddy with a bunch of hearts and a picture of Rosario appeared.
Hey. Aren't you suppost to be getting an education? -
Rosario smiled, glancing up to find that the teacher was still rambling on about how, in Greek and Roman times, it had been considered creative to spell things differently.
Aren't you supposed to be getting one, too, smart mouth?
Nah. Just listening to a speech about bad spelling. -
Dantello tapped his foot while he waited for a response, and he didn't have to wait long. He glanced over at the old man rambling on about how to treat the students to make sure he wasn't looking. When he was sure the teacher was distracted, he texted the older back.
Technically, I'm suppost to be learning how to give others an education.
Wow, that sure is interesting. Tell me when you learn something worhwhile, doll.
He was reluctant to add the last word, but did it anyways and hit Send. -
The boy focused momentarily on the lecture when the professor called him out, asking him the difference between whom and who. "Whom is the object of the verb," He explained, "The one being acted upon. Who is the subject of the verb, the one doing the action. For example, please let me know who is going, verses whom did you do with." With that, the professor allowed him to sit down, to find a response from Dantello.
What are you going to teach, anyways? Primary, or a subject in itself?
I've learned lots of things worthwhile.
