Dantello rolled his eyes as he hopped out of the car, searching for the house keys in his pocket as he walked towards the front steps. "That would never happen."
-
"It would." Rosario locked the car, and got out, skipping up behind him. "And when it does, you've only got yourself to blame."
-
Dantello just simply shook his head, about to unlock the door when it swung open. His sister, around ten years old, swung open the door. "Welcome back," she muttered walking away from the door. Dantello smirked, walking inside and slipping his shoes off. "She doesn't really like me all that much."
( the little sis is so cuteeee) -
"Mhm," Rosario muttered, getting really quiet. For some reason, he had never been comfortable around kids. Even looking at photos of himself under the age for thirteen made him feel weird, like he didn't think he should have ever been that small and odd.
(cute) -
The girl ignored Rosario and plopped down on the couch, acting like Dantello brought someone home every afternoon. "Mari, we're going up to my bedroom. Behave, please." Mari just rolled her eyes and waved a hand at him, glued to the flat screen hanging up on the wall. Dantello noticed Rosario grow quiet, but didn't say anything about it as he made his way up the carpeted stairs.
-
Rosario was just a little too glad to follow Dantello up the stairs, and away from the little girl, staying perfectly silent the whole time.
-
When they reached the top of the steps, Dantello opened the door to their left and walked in. Inside was his bedroom, always neat and tidy. There was a large all white king sized bed and a small black desk with a computer on the top. A stero sat beside the computer, and a book shelf was on the other side of the bed. Dantello plopped down on his bed, sitting on his knees. He motioned for Rosario to sit with him.
-
Rosario stepped over, dropping onto the bed next to Dantello. The room was nice, all tidy and clean and stuff. So unlike his own. "So.. Do you.. Live with your parents? Or are you just taking care of the.. Kid?"
-
"Nah. My parents are in jail, I guess. That's where the were when we left, I'm not sure about now. They're a couple of freaks, in my opinion. I just decided to take Mari with me when I left, cause orphanages aren't really all that cool." Dantello explained, clicking his tounge.
-
"Oh," He sighed, going silent. Rosario had been set with a pretty okay like. His folks didn't have a lot of money, but they were amazing. "..If it helps, I have two moms," He offered, smiling.
-
Dantello's eyes lit up at the though. He smiled. "Really? That's so neat." He hummed, rocking back and forth on his heels.
-
"I guess," He laughed, running a hand through his hair. "Is it possible for parents to be too accepting? They are, if it is. They bought be condoms, and had dinner with my all my boyfriend's parents, and as long as I was nice to everyone, they really didn't give a s--- what I did." Rosario grinned. "I should invite them over and you should come have dinner with us at some point."
-
"I wish my parents had been like that. That would be ah-mazing. Seriously. You can do just whatever you want, and no one will say anything. That's crazy." Dantello turned his head to look outside through the window, humming.
-
"Not amazing. Like, they didn't care who I dated, who I hung out with. Got into some pretty bad s---. Took two broken arms for them to question me," He sighed, and then shrugged. "And then I figured out that they weren't gonna tell me what was bad and what was good. So I figured it out myself. Learned a lotta stuff the hard way."
