Manu had told Landon to sit at home and get some work done for once. Manu had told the younger he needed to clean the house and do something besides taking a nap or exploring the unknown. But, despite his requests, by the time Manu was home, Landon had accomplished nothing. Landon's stood at the doorway, arms crossed. "Lance!" Landon jumped up from the floor when he heard the familiar nickname, rushing to the door. "Yes?" Landon looked up at the taller man, smiling nervously. "What did I tell you to do today?" Manu was tapping his foot impatiently. Landon thought for a minute, tapping his chin. "You told me to get some work done. But, you also told me to relax. So I accomplished something." Landon shrugged and bit his lip. Manu shut the door and sat the basket he was carrying beside the door. "I picked up some fruit." Manu was changing the subject. This was good. Landon grinned and wrapped his arms around his husband's waist. "Would you like me too make you something, love?" Manu shook his head, stroking the boy's orangish red hair.

(Scratch Olan being gay oops)
Olan didn't actually plan on raiding a store. The other's could do that. He had his sites set on a much more valuable goal- A woman. If he got bored, she was easily disposable. If he wanted to keep her around, they would have someone to cook. And, if he wanted to trade her for another, their next stop was the slave capital, pretty much. And so, there was no way stealing a woman would turn bad. More so if he kept her- No one on the ship could cook worth a damn.
Heading off towards a house set apart from town, he drew his sword, heading to the back to find a door. Trying to open it, and, finding it locked, he sighed, headed to the window, and pried it open, slipping in. He was in a small bedroom, quaint, he thought, and cozy. Turning in a small circle, he tried to decide who he would find in the house. The thought of this being a couple's room crossed his mind as he accidentally knocked over a vase. -
(Kay.)
Landon layed his head on his dear husband's chest, sighing happily. It was rare that they got moments like this where they could share their affection towards one another. Manu almost always came home late at night when the younger was already asleep and the whole village would taunt them if they found out about their secret marriage. Manu was continuing to stroke the smaller boy's hair when there was a loud crash that came from the bedroom. Landon jumped and held on to Manu's waist tightly. "M-Manu? What was that?" Manu gave a small shrug and planted a kiss on top of Landon's head. "Maybe it was just the wind. Maybe it opened a window, and a bird flew in or something. I'll check on it later.." Landon nodded, but wasn't sure that was what happened. -
He froze for a second, listening. Voices, from a room or two over. But, even after a few minutes, they didn't grow any closer. So, he opened the door, sliding out into the hall. A man and a shorter woman were hugging, and though the woman was turned in his direction, Olan wasn't in her line of sight. Creeping up behind them, careful to be light on his feet, he held the sword up, deciding quickly that she would do fine. In one swift, easy movement, he said a soft, "Sorry, mate. Nothing personal," And drove the sword into the man's back, angling it where it would sever his spine, and pierce his heart, but not run any interference with other bones.
-
Landon watched the man walk in, and he almost laughed as he often does at bad times. "M-Manu.." Manu only looked down at Landon. "Yes-" Landon screamed when the sword went into his husband's back and let go of his waist. Landon pressed his back against the wall and watched in horror as Manu's body went limp and fell staright to the ground without another sound. Blood starting covering the shirt Manu had been wearing, and Landon hid his face in his hands, hating the sight of blood. Landon kept his eyes covered and closed, shaking his head quickly, not believing that this was happening. Landon couldn't and wouldn't believe his husband was dead and there was a man taller and probably older than him with a sword. Landon knew this guy was going to kill him too. Landon peeked out from behind his hands, avoiding looking at the blood.
-
(Btw call me Andi)
"Sorry about that. Really," Olan apologized, stepping forward. He didn't put his sword away, but looked at the blood and shrugged, grabbing a rag off the counter, cleaning the sharp metal. After that was done, he threw the cloth over his shoulder, moving closer to the woman. "But really, you are much too beautiful to leave without. However, I will find someone else if you fight me. Turn around." He produced a length of thin cord from his pants pocket, pondering what kind of knot to the the man's hands with. One that was easily enough to undo if you knew how, he decided, and would tighten when pulled against. -
Landon removed his hands from his face and stared at the man. Looking up at him Landon shook his head. "You just k-killed him! H-How could y-you do that?" Landon was also confused on why this man had just called him beautiful. He had just killed Landon's husband, but now was the time when he wanted to be nice? Landon huffed and spun around as told, pressing his forehead against the wall. His head hurt, things had happened way too fast. They had only been married for six months and Manu was already taken away from him. He closed his eyes and sighed. Landon was praying that this was only just a dream, and in a matter of seconds he would wake up and everything would be back just how it was before. Peaceful.
-
The pirate fastened the knot within seconds, smiling at his handy work before spinning the girl around. She was a bit flat chested, but he didn't really mind. Placing one hand on her shoulder, the other putting his sword to her neck, he guided her out, closing the door behind him. "I did it, darling, because I couldn't have him following us. It's easier this way. Don't worry. You have bigger things to focus on," He grinned, and then, grabbed the chance to man an innuendo. "Much, much bigger things, I'm sure. Come on, let's go. Ships waiting."
-
Landon chewed on his bottom lip, walking beside the man. He glanced back once at the small house, careful to make sure the blade at his neck didn't cut him. "He wouldn't have followed us. He has much better things to do than tend to jerks." Landon frowned. "I don't have anything to focus on. I'm not doing anything for you or whatever it is you're talking about." Landon looked off towards the water where there was indeed a ship waiting. "S-Ship?" Then it hit him like lightning. "Oh. You're a pirate."
-
"If you don't behave, remember," He smiled, and pressed the blade down a bit, "I'm the one holding the sword, sweetheart." Olan laughed at the girl's realization, and nodded. "Yup. First Mate on Captain Samuel Vey's Classy Lady. Oh, and that ship is classy.. Not the men, the ship. And I wont want any blood on her, so if it comes to it, you're walking," He warned, and, as they reached the ship, yelled up, "Samuel! I need a board." His brother leaned over the side of the ship, and sighed, but gave the orders for a boardwalk to be lowered. Olan led the woman up the steep piece of wood, letting her go once they were on deck. "Isn't she fine, Sammy?"
"Olan, I asked you not to." -
Landon tensed when he pressed the blade down. He bit down on his lip and stayed quiet after that. Landon watched with interest as they lowered the boardwalk. Walking up the piece of wood, he huffed. When he was finally released, Landon pulled on the knot that tied his hands together, but it only got tighter. He listened impatiently as the men talked right in front of them, as of he wasn't even there. When Landon heard his kidnapper call him a she, he stomped his foot like a little kid. "She? Who do you think you are?"
-
The younger of the two brother's turned, realizing his mistake a moment too late. The anchor had been lifted, and they were sailing away from the village. Letting a cuss stream out of his mouth, he turned, stomping off to the cabin. Samuel's eyes followed him, and he laughed, before turning his attention onto the boy. "I apologize for my baby brother. He's just that. A baby. Turn around, let me get that cord off you." He pulled a small dagger from his belt, careful to hold it where the boy could see it, to make it clear that he meant him no harm. "I'm Captain Samuel Vey, but you can call me Sammy, or Captain. Your name..?"
-
Landon watched as the man stormed off, cursing. Landon turned to the other man and sighed. Landon raised his eyebrows when he took out a dagger, but turned so the man could cut the tight cord off. Chewing the inside of his mouth, he answered. "Landon. Some call me Lance. I go by either."
-
Samuel, as he said he would, cut the bonds and put the dagger back, smiling warmly at him. "Well, it's nice to meet you, then. Are you hungry? Would you like dome thing to eat? We have meat and bread and cheese," He suggested, nodding to the men as they began sorting through their finds. "..And wine, I guess. Hey, Charles, is that wine? We have wine. Thank God. I hate beer."
-
Landon turned on his heel to face the Captain. He pulled on the sleeve of his long sleeve shirt, shaking his head. "I'm not hungry, thank you. I just want to sit down, or something.."
