"Depends on what you call an attack. If you take one step closer to me, I will bite you. You need to just..go back to..class.." Tyler felt dizzy and his words came out as a slurr. He sat down on the floor with his back against the cold lockers, trying to keep his breaths steady.
-
She wanted to take a step closer, ask him if he was alright, but she believed him. "Okay." She mumbled and went to the class before stealing one last glance at him.
-
Tyler sat there for a few minutes after she went to class, dazed and feeling lightheaded. He rubbed his teeth with his fingers, pulling pressure against them so his fangs went back in. He sighed and got up, not wanted to return to class. He opened the door to class and strided in.
-
Riley stole a glance at him before finishing the last of her notes. She then pulled her phone from her back pocket, and started scrolling through Instagram. She really wanted to talk to him some how, possibly more answers, but she had to wait.
-
He sank down into his seat. Since vampires technically dont have to breathe he held his breath all during class so he couldn't smell Riley's sweet scent of vanilla. Tyler pretended to take notes during class, not really paying any attention. He listened to the whispers that came from behind him instead.
-
Classes passed by like almost any other day. Orchestra, science, English, then the day was over, and soon it was time for the long bus ride. Most of the time her bus was empty, and she usually sat alone since her group of friends lived in neighborhoods surrounding hers.
-
Tyler gripped the railing of the stairs that led up to the small bus. He gave a small nod to the driver whose thoughts he couldnt help but reading. Oh my..This young boy is..gorgeous. What am I thinking! I have a husband and this boy dosent think of me that way anyhow.. He left her thoughts and stared down the aisle of the bus. Most of the seats were empty.
-
Riley glanced up at the noise of another student boarding the bus. Once she realized who it was, she shrunk back into her seat, unsure if they should start talking again. Riley inhaled slowly, running a hand through her somewhat vibrant hair.
-
Even thought Tyler couldn't see Riley, he could smell vanilla. He sighed quietly and walked down the aisle. Just ignore it, he thought biting his lip.
-
Riley scooted to the window, watching kids walk away from the school, some being picked up by parents. She took out her phone and checked the time. Her dad wouldn't be home until midnight, most likely because he would've been out drinking.
-
Tyler walked past Riley. He almost sat beside her, but he knew exactly what would happen if he did, and he really did not want to hurt her. He sat in the very back of the bus.
-
She had been holding her breath as he walked by, though she didn't know why, but she knew she'd talk to him soon. I wonder what his touch would be like again... Maybe even... She let her mind and thoughts drift off- Those are just silly. She stared out the window as the bus began its route.
-
He layed his leg across the seat, letting his feet hang off the side. Tyler leaned his head against the window. He attempted to listen to Riley's thoughts, but allthat came back was something like static.
-
(Idea~)
Riley absentmindedly pulled a pair of ear-buds from her jacket pocket and started scrolling through her playing. You'd think she listened to Eminem, Arianna Grande, or Taylor Swift, but no. She had more of a liking for indie artist, the ones that weren't as known, but she didn't share this with her clique. They could always ridicule her, but then she'd kick them out of the group. -
(Spit it out~)
Tyler continued to try and reach her thoughts, but he got absolutely nothing. It made him somewhat angry, upset. He had always been able to read everyone's thoughts, no matter how old or young.
