Clara saw shade, and walked out to meet her. "Can we go to the creek?" She pulled Shade down the cement staircase.

Shade nods and follows clara.

At the creek, Clara wades out to a large boulder. "Four weeks. And I wanted to do so much!"

Shade looked at clara and felt Bad for her."what's the Most important thing you wanted to Do?" Shade asked.

Clara blew a tuft of hair and leaned back. "Now that would be impossible."'

Shade crossed her arms with a serious look on her face. "I guess It is, since you said you wanted to Do so much.."

Clara shifted. "Well, it's not just that. It's gonna be hard, this summer's my last. I'll never get-" Clara caught herself. She grabbed Shades hand.

Shade looked at clara When she grabbed her hand. "What is it?" Shade asked

Clara sighed. "Married, okay? I know that's a touchy subject. But the thing I want to do most is..." Impossible, she thought.

Shade frowned. "Is what? " Shade looked into clara's eyes.

"I wanna touch the stars!" She leaned into the water. "Even if I'm not really there." She saw the ring of heart shaped rocks. "Remember that day?"

"Yeah i remembered"Shade looked into the water and began to trace a heart in the water.

Clara smiled, her cheeks warm. "Shade, this has always been our little world."
