"Smoking really is bad for you. I shouldn't do it myself, but.." He fished his pockets and handed the teen a little red lighter. "That should hold for awhile. Don't get caught or anything. And don't worry about returning it, I have plenty back in my hotel room and somewhere in my moving stuff.."
-
"Thanks," He muttered, ducking out of the classroom. He was glad that was over, though worries still crowded his mind. This could be bad, and worse if he was in Matty's class.
-
Matty let out a breath of air that he could've sworn he'd been holding throughout the whole conversation. As casual as he wanted to act, he could remember Charlie's body clearly, and the older craved him again. But if he had to wait to get what he yearned for, then he would. Or he'd at least try.
-
Trying to push the encounter from his mind, Charlie headed to the parking lot. He ended up smoking two, and then heading back inside, late for his exam. The teacher wasn't rude about it, though, so it was okay. He finished early, and took off as soon as he could, leaving the school in favor of watching movies at his house.
-
Matty finished his reorganizing of the room, putting what he wanted where he wanted it. He'd even asked other nearby teachers to give their opinions. Some thought it was great that he was making changes to make his room more interesting, others seemed to scoff at the idea, seeing him as far too relaxed and layed back. 'You'll be a door mat for these kids' one had told him. But he didn't let it bother him. Itwas just someone's opinion after all.
-
He would have called a friend to hang out with, had Charlie thought any of them would have said yes. He knew that none of them would want to, though, so he didn't bother, flipping through channels silently, looking for something to watch. He stopped, though, at the sound of a car door slamming. He looked out his window to confirm his worries- Yeah, his dad was home. And mad, by the sound of footsteps pounding up the stairs. Seconds later, the door was thrown open. Charlie started on some attempt at small talk, but was cut off my his father's sharp, "So, you're a little fag, hm?"
-
The young man relaxed in his seat at the new position of his desk. Out of view from the window beside the door. Matty had decided to stick around for a bit, having been notified that his attendance lists would be sent to his teacher email for him to look over. He didn't know for sure if he wanted to create a seating chart yet. He'd likely just let the students sit where they pleased unless they caused problems.
-
"What're you talking about?" Charlie acted as though he didn't know exactly what he was talking about. He knew, somehow he knew about his job, and how he was getting money, and he was about to kicked out.
"You know," His father started, moving forward quickly, towering over Charlie even after he stood up. "You little boyfriend sent me pictures."
Charlie frowned. He didn't have a boyfriend- Oh. But he did. A bitter, bitter, older-than-him ex that still sent him texts and dick pics, most of which Charlie ignored.
"Dad, just.. Yeah. Yeah, I'm gay. I don't see how that's exactly a problem." -
Matty wiped off his glasses, setting them on his desk, and refreshed his computer screen. He scanned through the files sent to him. Six different hours, half of the periods seniors, the other half juniors. He smiled as he scanned through the lists and set up his computer for the easy acces to roll call. Every name in a list and columns with circles for tardiness or absence. "Just click on one depending on the status of the student.." He mumbled instructions to himself.
-
Though his father didn't say anything, Charlie closed his eyes, waiting for hands to close around his neck, or a fist to make contact with his face. Instead, though, his father brought his knee up, hard, in between Charlie's legs, laughing cruelly as his son doubled over. "If I ever hear that you've been with another boy," He warned, moving for the door, "I swear, I'll cut it off."
-
After looking over the list of faces and names, Matty had logged off and shut down his computer and put on his coat and scarf again. He grabbed his keys, locking up his room as he left. He wanted to go take care of somethings at the apartment he was moving into and check on the progress. "Hotels are nice, but pricey.."
-
When his father left, Charlie sat down, putting his face in his hands. At least there weren't any noticeable marks yet, and decided to call a friend and stay the night to keep it that way. He chose Mark, his friend that had dropped out of high school last year, and was quickly told yeah, sure, he could come over. But bring noodles and condoms because Mark was out of them.
-
The young teacher was glad to see that his last bits of furniture were being set inside and set up for him. He was more than eager to finally be in his own place, even if it was just an apartment, and thanked all of the workers while they finished up. "Please, stick around for a bit longer. I'll go get my things then I'll be out of your hair." And boy was he quick about it. He hadn't even bothered to properly pack his things when he checked out of the hotel; Just stuffed them into his bag and took off to his new home.
-
Matty sighed with joy as he flopped into his bed. The movers had been paid, and tipped, then took off to wherever else they needed to be. That left the man to relax and get used to his new home, making sure everything was there as he began to unpack his things. He was ready for whatever his new students had to throw at him the following week.
-
He ended up picking pink ones that were flavored strawberry, and lubricated. He bought them with a very straight face, ignoring the raised eyebrow of the cashier. He probably didn't seem like one to buy condoms, with his good-boy button up and plain jeans. The worker was new. He clearly had to be, as Charlie had bought protection from this store for the last two years.
