Alex blinked and shrugged slightly. "You guys need me." He stated simply and went back to drawing. "If I stopped, then who would pick up my slack?" He liked talking with EJ, she wasn't as broken as the others and easy to speak with. "Did you meet anyone?" He asked simply. -
Right?)
She made a face as he spoke of people needing him, then shrugged at his final question. "Yeah, Allen. He seemed pretty nice " she couldn't help smiling at the memory of the older man's broken sentences. -
"Ahh, Allen.. He is a very nice man indeed." He smiled and yawned slightly. "He needs a little more help but very soon he shall be leaving and ready to start a new life in the city." He yawned and rubbed his face. "I think you would make good friends with him indeed."

EJ completely ignored his comments and stared at Alex. "You need a nap. A vacation, maybe."

Alex rolled his eyes and stoped drawing. "I'll take a vacation the same day you stop being such a sarcastic hard case." He retorted and smiled slightly. He relaxed back into his chair and crossed his as over his chest.

She couldn't help smiling at that. "Sorry, I was born an ass. You'll just have to let it go." She copied his position and facial expression.

"Oh so you have to copy me now hm?" He asked with amusement and raised one eyebrow. A slight laughter escaped his lips as he watched her. "You're not my usual patient." He mused as his eyes brightened up. "I like it."

She grinned and relaxed from that position. He wasn't the usual doctor type, and she was actually enjoying this. She shrugged again, which was quickly turning into her signature move. "I like being unusual." She smiled at him.

He shook his head and looked at his watch, they still had plenty of time. "Care to go for a walk with me then? I'm tired of being in my office and could do with a little unusaleness in my life."

She smiled at that and nodded. "Sure. I wouldn't like being cooped up all day, either." She stood up and made her way to the door

Alex stood up and followed her close behind and closed his door behind her. "I rarely do this." He said quietly as if was a secret between the two. "Green house?" He looked at her from the corner of his eye while holding the door open for her.

She nodded and grinned at him. "Sounds good." She quickly walked out the door, head down and lightly blushing, not really used to that treatment. She shook it off and looked at him "So we have to sneak?"

"Not really.. Kinda I suppose. I don't know I just don't take my patients out because half the time they can't sit still long enough to focus on me." He shook his head and lead her towards the green house where he held the door for her once more.

She looked up at him and raised her eyebrows. "That bad, huh?" She did the same at she walked through this door, without the blush. "Luckily, weed isn't as dangerous as some people are led to believe..."
